Four Seasons - Four Cards...Sorry!!

Hello Everyone...I'm here today to share with you a new Release Stamp available after 10th September...from CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS ...but with that comes a story...and I need to tell it...this is a long post, loads of pictures, so grab wine...oh! wait, most of you are mornings...so better grab a coffee and some toast and lets begin...

When my image arrived I was pleased as punch with her, and started to colour her straight away...but with reservation...something was wrong, but could not put my finger on it until she was all pretty in her red & green dress, pretty Christmas papers and snowdrops, then the penny dropped..oh! oh!...she is supposed to be Autumn as that is the new release theme...

See!....

I was very dissappointed as she looked so lovely and was easy to colour up....soooo...I started again and made her as she was supposed to be...and here she is...

"Vinca "-" Lets Dance"....

All in her gorgeous Autumn colours...

Now my Grandson could heard me muttering and slighly cursing, and enquired "what's up Nana"...so I told him what I did, and showed him the first card I did...and here is that one for your viewing pleasure....

All Christmassy and pretty....

So he looked at both cards, liked them both and then said..."well, you have gone this far, why dont you make a Summer one and a Spring one too"....[he is a bright 10yr old, that boy]

So I thought," Well.. she is so versatile...why not"...and here she is as Summer...

Pastel and gorgeous, nestled in a bunch of Wonga Wonga from my neighbour...

And then we have her all ready for Spring...that's where I'm heading at the moment..

Pinks and pastels....

So there we have the most versatile image...and very gorgeous, so lovely to colour..

Most have been coloured with my pencils, and a few copics...all the papers are from my stash..

And the Grand Final'e...................4 Seasons in One......

Hope you are still with me, and sorry for such a long post, but thought I needed to share, how great this little stamp is..and hope you enjoyed them all...thanks for stopping by...

Luv CHRISSYxx

These are gorgeous Chrissy and it's hard to believe it is the same image so it's funny how different colours can completely change a card. Great job on all of them though!

What a fun idea - to make a card for each season using the same image! I think the image works so well for every season, actually! It all depends on the choice of colors, papers and embellishments, really! I am unable to pick a favorite...

Wow, Chrissy - what you've done is amazing! Four sensational looks from one stamp, and every single one an absolute gem! She's a glorious Autumn, but I think Spring would get my vote - though maybe I'm just jealous of you heading into Spring as we're heading into Winter!! Wonga wonga - lovely lovely!
