PINK AND PRETTY



Hello Everyone...

WOW!! We had a stinking hot day yesterday with temps 35oC...and one of my busy days with vacuuming, bed changes, washing floors, laundry, the works...it was terrible...BUT!!..last night we had a turn from the south...[which is cold here]..temps dropped to 12oC today...raining. blowing..and guess what..I had most the day off...so could not have been better...

So to celebrate I made a card.....using a freebie from Saturated Canary .....

                                                        HUGS AND KISSES


 
And all in pink and red, all geared up for Valentine..
 


A close up...all coloured up with pencils and three metal hearts tied together with loads of cuttlebug hearts strewn all over...



The side view...used a page from our old phone book as the main background paper for no other reasen that the thought popped into my head, and the other paper is from a magazine...

The sentiment and die was from Tickled Pink stamps a long time ago..

    How sweet! I think it's hard to make designs with hearts - I have a hard time finding the right place to put them. You know - I might spend hours deciding where to put one little bling or flower - imagine the time I would put into placing all those hearts of yours*lol*

    Yeh, the weather has been HOT..but I'm not complaining. As for the blast from the South, I'd send that back where it came from but my garden needed the dump of water! LOL! Vinnie even crawled under the duvet with us last night cos he was cold....

    it doesn't look like 12°C and rain on the piccie though :o) Phew, 35°C is more than a human can bear, I hate it!
