DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EMBOSSING AND PAPER PIECING?

Hello Everyone...

Sunday evening here, and a beautiful Spring one at that...just finished work and settled "My Ladies"....rump roast in the oven and looking forward to that as I don't have to share it...lol..

Have a card to share though...and it is for the Ready-Teddy-Go challenge..  and they want embossing...
Now how on earth could I mistake embossing for paper piecing is beyond me...but I did...and paper pieced the pillow for this little chap from Doodle Pantry ...

This little fellow is called Cuddly Bear ...

Too cute....coloured with Faber Castell pencils and the pillow is paper pieced...

This was a commissioned card and no sentiment was required just the lettering BABY..that!.. I accomplished.....with the colours..pink..lemon...blue..done.

Then checking the card out later.. I thought it would be good for the RTG challenge..

Still did not click that I had not embossed....had paper piecing on my brain.

When I did finally register..everything was stuck down...so out came the cuttlebug embossing folder and made the postage stamp, which can be easily removed for the lady who asked for the card...

So there is my feeble attempt at embossing...lol..will do better next time.

Thanks for stopping by...will see you tomorrow.

luv CHRISSYxx

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't register the challenge requirements sometimes! I just made a lovely card to enter a Christmas challenge featuring a girl in a summer dress. D'oh. She's coloured beautifully too, I was really pleased until I uploaded the photo. :0(
Love your baby card. The little bear is adorable and the paperpiecing is fab.
Have a lovely Sunday.

I think the postage stamp is so cute! And I completely understand those brain freezes - you feel so daft when the penny drops, don't you?!

And the paper-pieced pillow is, of course, lovely too!!

Hope you enjoyed your rump roast - I've just been eating goat for the first time!
