I LOVE YOU - WITH CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES

Hello Everyone...

Oooo...what a long day...hope tomorrow is a short one as it is Friday, but one of my busiest...and it was a short week, but feels like it is going forever!!

But today is Thursday, and time for a new challenge at CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES

"For the One You Love"  a nice romantic theme away from Ghouls and spooks...

I used this romantic, sweet image from LOTV called The Little Things 

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils,copic spots on the gift,and nestled in the Spellbinders Floral Oval..

Marianne Creatables Topiary trees with pearl hearts, and tied with blue organza ribbon both have been inked with distress inks for colour...

New paper from "Rosies Studio"..."My Favourite Recipe"...

The sentiment is a little rubber stamp and had it for years..

So there we go...something for "The one you Love"...hope you will join us this week, would love to see you there...at CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES

A KISS FOR YOU AND A KISS FOR ME!!

Hello Everyone...

Hope everyone is safe after storms and fires...what's the world coming to...I dont know..I cannot complain tucked away down here in NZ...all is good...
just very busy with the boys and dog sitting...working and trying to organised schedules with all the activities, school and sports and walkies too....not easy...2 boys,3 dogs,1 cat,1 bird and a sore finger...lol..but they're all being sooo good..no one is fretting,and the boys want to stay forever..[thats not gonna happen]..

Onto this Wednesday post for FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY ...with the theme....

ANY WINGED CREATURE.....and being a traditional old thing I stayed with my Fairies...

These adorable two are from A&T DIGITAL DESIGNS  home of the Emerald Faeries..WILLY & MIA

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils...and had a go at mixing the colours on Mia's skirt.
Glittered up their beautiful wings...and embossed in gold around the edge..messy business.

The papers are one of my favourites from MME "Honey"...love the rich and full colours of the flowers...and a strip of suede cord tied into a bow.

LAST HALLOWEEN CARD..

Hello Everyone...

My last Halloween project for this year....but with one of the cutest little witches from Stampfairy .... Mimi Halloween 1  and Stampfairy are sponsoring this week  at Tuesday Throwdown so I'm joining in as a guest in support of their challenge...

Here's little Mimi...all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils...

And a big creepy spider floating above her head..it's okay though it is only plastic...but sure does look real when your G/son puts it on your keyboard..

Papers and ribbon from my stash and the tiny bottle filled with stars are from a nail art place...cute eh!...

The side view shows the spider better..and used a hair net for the web...

A CUTE LITTLE DONKEY - WITH MAKE IT MONDAY

Hello Everyone...

Monday is upon us and the last day of our long weekend....had a wonderful BBQ the other night at my Daughters....BUT!!! there was a terrible fight in the kitchen half way through the prepping...between....

            This guy  !!

       And this guy!!


Guess who won!!!!....I forgot to use the guard..and oops!!...and we never found the missing bit either...so now I have a hole in my finger...rather deep and nasty, so there goes any plans for colouring as I'm a lefty and having a struggle holding my pencils...

Thank goodness I'm ahead with DT cards..

Onto something more pleasurable....MAKE IT MONDAY   with our wonderful sponsor....... MELJENS DESIGNS ...

Such a little Cutie...all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and red copic....

Front of my card....papers are MME glittered stack...magnolia snowflake dies and a lush red ribbon from my stash....

Glitter on little donkey's hat...and a very sunny day for photographing,so quite a few shadows...but, taken by my berry bush, which berries up near Christmas...

For my POTW I went with this wonderful creation from # 120 Jan 

    I love these advent calanders, just dont have the patience to make one...so I let the experts do it...gorgeous Jan...Thanks for sharing with us at MIM...

So that's me for today...off to nurse my battle wounds...[very stingy]...my Son has gone back to Christchurch today...my Daughter and SIL have whipped off to Raratonga today, so I'm home with the boys...and my eldest Son comes home from Australia today...and my family wonder why I dont remember everything...sheeez...

BOO!!! - GUESS WHO??

Hello Everyone....

Day two of my long weekend and loving it...the sun is shinning...the gardens are tidy and off to my Daughters for a BBQ tea...yum!!..first of the season.

But before that....who is this ???...

Go on.. you can tell....look at those eyes, and those cute fuzzy feet...

YAY!!...it is BARRY ....of course it is...BARRY SPOOKY BATS  from STAMPFAIRY'S Halloween collection..

The house was a freebie from the net and all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils..except for the trim..thats was done with a grey copic...my favourite spooky house...

Barry hiding under his sheet with his little Trick or Treat bag, was glittered up and fussy cut out,then placed in front of the house...

The BOO! with the hanging spider is a freebie over at STAMPFAIRY and was also fussy cut out...coloured with copics and distress inks..and that is one tiny spider to cut out...

Added Fiskars Grass border in black...and inked up the sky to make it a bit eerie..

Going to enter into these challenges...

STAMPFAIRY DT - GONE FISHING WITH LENNY

Hello Everyone...YAY!!...it's Friday...and I'm on my long weekend...not that it makes any difference to 'My Ladies"...but I do love to keep reminding them that I'm not going to do washing or cleaning this weekend...all of that has been done..and I'm only there for meals..so far so good....

Now LENNY here has the right idea, and perhaps he's on a long weekend too, as he is off fishing...

All coloured up with Faber Castell pencils...clear blue skys inked up with SU 'Bashful blue'.. and with his paper pieced hat and fishing jacket he is all set to go!!...

Paper from my stash....dragonfly die cuts....and some ribbon from my stash.

The birthday sentiment was made on the PC....

Still a sale going on over at STAMPFAIRY  so pop over...you can never have too many Bears...and there are loads of other cute images too...

ANY COLOURS BUT!!! - FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY - DT

Hello Everyone.....Happy Wednesday..hope you are all well and happy...

Been a busy day as we have a long weekend coming up and have to fit all Friday's and Monday's clients into today and tomorrow so no one misses out..lol..but then 4 days OFF!!!

My youngest Son is arriving up from down South [Christchurch...the earthquake city] for the long weekend and it will be his Birthday on Friday...gosh!! my baby turning 34...where did those years go...

Any colours BUT!!...ORANGE AND BLACK is the theme for FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY  this week...just add your Fairy or butterfly...avoid those two colours and you are good to go...

I've gone with a Fairy this week...and found this little cutie in my files and have never coloured her up..a little freebie off the net..

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and glittered up her wings...gosh!...her wings look a bit orange, but I swear it was a yellow I used...

Paper from my stash and found this Rose ribbon at a local store....

Cut a couple of roses off the ribbon and added rose leaves and berries and we nearly have a Christmas card....if I added a sentiment...


So there we are...hope the rest of your week goes well...I love mid week because that means  only 3 more sleeps till the weekend...

CASING A CARD - WITH STAMPFAIRY

Hello Everyone...

Thanks everyone for all your comments lately...really gives me a buzz after a long day at work to come home and have a good read...

Today I'm here to share a DT card for STAMPFAIRY ....BUT!!...I'm casing a card I popped on my Make it Monday - DT post  as my POTW [Pick of the Week] from HELEN  and if you click on the link [ Helens name]you can see her gorgeous card featuring the ever lovable BARRY PUMPKINS ...

This is my card using BARRY PUMPKINS 5 ...

To make my big pumpkin..I cut out 3 ovals with my largest oval die and inked up the edges with distress inks...them placed them to form the pumpkin, with the front die on foam dots....added a "Cheerylyn leaf die"...

There's side one view....with Barry all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils....sitting on his little pile of pumpkins...well, he couldnt reach the big could he..                         

 

 

 

 

And there is side two...not much point doing a close up as the pumpkin is sooo big...lol.. and I made a simple  "Thanks" tag...and hooked it on one of the tendrils.

 

The papers were from Crate Paper "Portrait Collection"...and my cursor keeps starting in the middle of my post and driving me silly...

MAKE IT MONDAY - DT WITH A PURPLE UNICORN

Hello Everyone...Hope you are all well and happy and having a great weekend..

I know he has a real talent, as long as he is patient,and the good pencils certainly helped.

The papers were from a candy I won such a long time ago from LISA  and they were just perfect for the colours...

A Marianne creatables fence....Couture Creations Leaf die and flowers from my stash found there way onto the front with a Dragonfly from my friend...

The name 'Kate' was done with stickers..

Now onto my POTW....I really thought this was a fabulous card by # 78 Helen ..so much so I am show casing it tomorrow...

Isn't this just too cute, and using my favourite Bear of all time...thanks for sharing with us Helen...

Just a Quickie

Hello Everyone...

Just a quickie tonight...

My Grandson Tyla loves to craft....if I'm colouring, he will colour...he makes his own cards and always makes a great effort and is always very proud when he has finished..

The other day I offered to let him  use my "Faber Castell pencils"...something I do not do lightly, and away he went with them and blending oils and these are his finished works of art...[I'm almost jealous..lol..] and I never laid a finger on either of them...except for a watermark that he requested..

and card number 2....

He did the paper piecing all by himself...cut the hat out too..[and his finger...oop's]

DT FOR STAMPFAIRY..WITH CIRCLES,SANDCASTLE AND A BEAR

Hello Everyone....YAY!!! IT'S FRIDAY..and while most of you lovelies are at the beginning I am at the end...beautiful warm evening...bit of high cloud..perfect.

I'm here today to share my DT card for STAMPFAIRY ....

BARRY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR -6  ....playing on the beach and making sandcastles...looks like he is having a great day...

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils...and added dots on the sand and the castle to add texture...the sky inked up with SU  'Bashful Blue'..

A Marianne creatables starfish...and must have been my circle phase when I made this one up...but still like them..

The papers were from my stash...love the big circles on those too...and added a Fiskars punched 'Wave' border and loads of beads...

The sentiment was printed onto vellum..

So that's me done tonight...off to watch a bit of Telly and rest this shoulder a bit more, but feeling real good today...thanks so very much for the well wishes...they worked..

CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER -WITH CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES

Hello Everyone....

Thursday already...just don't know where this week is going...and still nursing a sore shoulder but no so painful as last night, so things are looking up and 'My Ladies' have stayed put today..lol..so that was a bonus.

Here to share my DT card for CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES ....and the theme this week is..

                               "CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER"

I used my most favourite Christmas image .....CHRISTMAS CANDLE  from LOTV

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and Copics...glittered his hood,scarf and pom poms and cut him out with a Spellbinders Floral Oval die...

Papers were from my stash...added some ribbon and lace and an iron on transfer that looks like a snowflake and popped a pearl in the middle..

Used a Marianne Ivy die as I haven't got a holly one, but looks quite good...scattered some gems for berries...then came the sentiment which I really like..

Little wooden alphabet beads...love them...so much fun.

So there we go for this Thursday...hope your week is going a bit slower than mine...but the good news is only two more sleeps till the weekend...

The butterfly is spellbinders and I cut him 3 times and layered him up...using pretty blue papers from my scrap box.

Last side view...the sentiment is a little clear set with no name...had it for years.

SING A SONG OF SIXPENCE WITH MAKE IT MONDAY

Well.. the weekend is gone...but I managed to do a bit of gardening, the weather was beautiful on Sunday and dug the new gardens over once more and started planting...and found 3 new muscles I didn't have the day before..ouch!!
