CHRISTMAS IN JULY AND NEW RELEASE

Hello Everyone...

A new challenge is starting up today over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog  with the challenge of "Christmas in July"...a great way to get started if we haven't already..  and the DT's are showcasing brand new images "Under the Sea Christmas"..

This image is called" Missy Manatee"...

Even Manatee's deserve to have a Christmas...

I printed the image twice and masked her up to do the background with green and dark blue inks..
Then just tore the paper edges....no DP's on this card.

Lots of gold and and pretty coloured seed beads along the bottom and some shells...

Ribbon loops around the edge and a bow in green and gold....

Missy Manatee coloured with Faber Castell pencils and copics...keeping her gift plain white to go with the white edges and added lots of spots on her...

So sparkly in the sun...Marianne creatables leaves again for coral or seaweed...

And this little guy who is really HUGE is a Manatee..I had to google as I had no idea what one was...friendly creatures...gentle for their size...but still do not want to meet one....he is so lovely and blubbery.

So there we go...a new release and a new challenge "Christmas in July"...over at
Lacy Sunshine  ..

Thanks for stopping by...been having all sorts of issues with my PC ..A nasty Malware thing got on and pop ups all over the place...lost my DT icons and could not comment for days...couldn't load pictures off my camera...and cant link up to lots of challenges..so there you go!!

But it maybe cleaned up now...e-mail went all silly too...so frustrating and my Son huffs and puffs when I ring for help..lol..but came over and fixed it [I think]...as was happy to have hot scones waiting for him.

Gee!.. a long post with lots a photos ...sorry about that..

Entering these challenges...

Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge   [water water everywhere ]

See you tomorrow...

Oooo what a super image and i so love 'Manatees' too - i had a chance to swim with one in Florida a few years ago, but the weather wasn't right and i was so disappointed, as they are so gentle. So loving your layout, with those fabby shells, luv Sam x

Wonderful card, love the sea scene you created, especially the seafloor! Hate hearing about malware, so scary!

Such an adorable image and a beautiful card. Love all the colours. I had the pleasure of seeing Manatees on both my visits to Florida. They are huge, really huge, yet they eat cabbage like vegetables. Very gentle creatures but get damaged a lot by speed boats and jet skies, in the wild. Hugs, Carol S.xx
