SUNSHINE..WARMTH..AND PIRATES!!

Hello Everyone...

YAY!! it is Friday and I have a long hard weekend with work..but it is still Friday...so that is a bonus..

I'm hear to share my DT card for STAMPFAIRY and a whole lot of Pirates...

All the pirates [Bears]  I used were from the Lenny Pirates Collection ...

So lets get started...

This is Lenny the pirate and he has been on this Island for weeks [hence the shadow of whiskers]..looking for his buried treasure....but with out success...he forgot where he buried it and lost his treasure map.

Further up the beach there was another wee Bear sitting under the shade of the palm trees..and he did have a map...but..it is the wrong one and he forgot his glasses so cannot read a thing...

To the left of him.. Lenny's map is laying there half buried in the sand..

On up the beach and two more Bears.. they have found a chest..BUT..is it the real thing?...and where is their map?.How did they know to look there?

Well!..I say to them all if they worked together in the first place they would have been happier pirates and I'm sure there is enough treasure to go around....there usually is..so sharing could have been the important thing here...right??

Once again from the side..very hard to photograph as there were so many shadows..

And the ingredients....

The ship from the net...coloured with Faber Castell pencils...the sky inked up with distress inks.

The Lenny collection of Bears  all coloured with pencils...

The Palm trees off the net coloured with inks and sponges [saved time]then fussy cut out...[didn't save time took me forever!!!]

The map I made and burned the edges and my finger with a lighter...

The barrels off the net [used them before but this time shrunk them right down to fit and fussy cut out.]

Marianne shell and starfish dies..

Seagulls off the net..fussy cut too..

And that is about that...

Trying to teach a few young boys a moral..share and be honest and everyone comes out on top...selfishness only causes bitterness and problems..hopefully this will give them the message..

This card was a commissioned project...and if the man gets the story behind it right it may just work..lol..

See you tomorrow and thanks ever so much for stopping by...

Challenges I would like to enter...

Fab'n'funky  [walk on the wild side - animals]

Little Miss Muffet   [anything goes]

Cute card Thursday  [for the birds]

MOO -Mania challenge   [Anything Goes]
