DT - FOR LACY SUNSHINE

Hello Everyone....Sunday 31st August today...Really!!

First day of Spring for me tomorrow...although the calendar say's otherwise..it always has been and always will be for me..1st September..the promise of things to come.

Here to share my DT card for Lacy Sunshine  and this fortnights theme is..

This is Gemma Gumdrops Secret Window  ....

Gemma is coloured with Faber Castell pencils and copics this time...

There she is with her gumdrops close by on the window sill...and the dastardly rubber butterfly that would not stick!!...but it is very pretty.

The flowers are a Marianne creatables die and I added tiny buttons to the centres...

Another sunny day when this pic was taken inside my wicker basket...a Couture Creations 'Ivy die ' sprawling around the window...and the butterfly was still holding at this stage...

Pretty papers from Rosies Studio '...'Prim and Proper'...and a scrap of my favourite brick wall paper just popping into view with no name.

There we go...all done..

DANCE LITTLE LADY - DANCE!

Hello Everyone...
Such a watery sun in the sky here today and a bit chilly..but I'm sure Spring is right around the corner....after we have had the late frosts...the sudden downpours...the winds and a few more chilly days..always the optimist..lol..

Welcome to Delightful Thursdays ..
 
This is when the DT show case some of the fabulous images Wendy has over at the shop...

Today I'm sharing a card with the cutest little Ballerina...Balllerina Bobbi

I have made Bobbi her own little stage with curtains and bows...

Bobbi's skin..hair and bodice coloured with Faber Castell pencils...her tutu..bow..and dancing slippers with a copic B32...

Then she was fussy cut out and placed centre stage..

The pretty floral papers from Rosies Studio and the craft card for the rest of the scene from my stash.[such a shame as the pink card stock looks muddy]..

Added little gems along the front for stage lights and woodgrain papers for the floor.

And aren't watermarks great for hiding boo boo's...lol..gotta love that.

So there we go...another Thursday and another week nearly gone..

Hello Everyone...

There was a super sweet freebie from Crissy Armstrong over at Whimsey Stamps on Friday...did you get it?...if you didn't you can pick him up for only $1.50...so cute.

There is is..."Scarecrow"...

Sorry the colours are a bit wishy washy...too much sun and couldn't fix it without it looking grainy and dirty...

All coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and a few copics.

The papers from "Rosies Studio - Basics"...added a marianne fence and little bird...

Sunshine clouds with DP papers and  a scrap of mesh and a raffia bow...

And seeing as he was 'Hanging around"...I turned him into a get well card..

Sentiment computer generated "Hang in there" - "Get well soon".

So there we go...off to boy sit tonight, so popping this up on schedule..

PLAY THAT DRUM LENNY

Hello Everyone...

Monday today for me...and half way through the day...but I have the afternoon off so going to see my Dad and maybe a spot of crafting later on.

Have a card to share using a fabulous cute image from Stampfairy ..and turned it into a Christmas card..very versatile stamps these cuties are..

There's Lenny Music  all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils..and made this card into a Christmas card.

I did use copics for his drum and a gold gel pen...the snowflakes are Magnolia and a punch one too...

A Marianne tree die and papers from Couture Creations - "Vintage Christmas"

Now those swans music notes are a punch from somewhere...and when I first glued these in place I thought "Great"..perfect punch...that is until my G/son came in and asked me why I glued black swans on my card..talk about being shot down in flames..
But trust me...they are music notes!!

So there we go...another day almost over...blossoms on all the trees now and strange wet, dry, hot, cold weather..but that is Spring for you..

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Hello Everyone...

I had a request for an Anniversary card and matching box not long ago..and I'm here today to share it with you, as the happy couple have received it and very happy with it..
Quite a few photos so will stop wafting and get on with it...

The card front..

The verse or poem I made up..used to do that a lot when I was younger and quite enjoyed putting the words together...

The beautiful papers were from "MicheleRdesigns" and were feebies...

I cut the butterflies out of the papers....all the flowers from WOC...

So there we go...really enjoyed making this set...have few more to do but they are not required until the New Year...so plenty of time.

DELIGHTFUL THURSDAY DT

Hello  Everyone...

Well, well, well...sitting here eating my pixie caramel [not sick of them after all]...and watching the 11th re-run of "Friends"and my mind snapped into gear...I HAVE NOT POSTED MY POST!!

So welcome to Delightful Thursday and my DT card for Digital Delights 

This week I chose this puppy to play with, and he is a delight..

Meet Speckles ....

This little dog is too cute and so much fun to colour...

Lots of "Marianne Creatables trees" and a big spotty moon peeking through the forest. using scraps..
Papers are from "Rosies Studio - Basics"

Then the Marianne fences to stop this wee fellow from wandering off...although someone has left the gate open..again!!..

I coloured Speckles with Faber Castell pencils...glittered the heart on his collar and glossy accents on his eyes..added some dog bones buttons from my stash....

And the side view..

The emphasis on the "Again"..is this card has gone to a young boy who was forever leaving the gate open...his dog wandered off and it took 3 days to find him...fortunately a nice couple had him [and were going to keep him mind you..] and after a bit of..ummm..choice words from Dad the dog was returned to the boy..

Mum and Dad have done there own sentiment for inside the card...a list of rules!

So all's well that ends well...

Hello Everyone...

Tuesday afternoon...just finished work and thought I would pop this on schedule for tonight...
It is freezing cold today...cloudy and dull with rain threatening..the bad weather coming up from the South later today...rain...rain..rain....so casserole for tea tonight...nice and comforting...and maybe a munchy or 2..3..4..5..6..okay lots!!.

Have a Wedding card to share today using a gorgeous image from STAMPFAIRY 

This is Lenny & Linda Wedding from the  "Love & Valentines" Collection..

Such a cute little couple...

Love the sparkle from the sun on the Lindas dress..it is not really pink though..it is a clear sparkly glue like Stickles...but the sun has drawn out the pink...but it is still pretty.

The side view...the bells in the centre are stickers that I stuck down onto white card and fussy cut out...the hearts are Cuttlebug dies and the gorgeous frame from "Couture Creations...I just used the frame this time and not the doily centre..

So we will leave these two to get on with their honeymoon...

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH LACY SUNSHINE

Hello Everyone...
Sunday afternoon and chilly outside...so what better way to spend the afternoon but ...CRAFTING!

I didn't make this one today...but we have a new fortnight challenge #40 starting over at ...
LACY SUNSHINE  and I was able to play with this little sweetie called MOLLY ..

 

There she is, the little charmer...batting those gorgeous eyelashes behind her glasses......

Molly's skin and hair and school books coloured with Faber Castell pencils...
Her bow and shirt with copics....

I added glossy accents to her glasses...

The papers are "Lost and Found Two"....

...and made the sentiment on the computer...then cut them all out...

The huge ABC letters are chipboard letters from my scrapbook days...and did a few doodle lines around Molly..

So there we go...don't the weeks go fast...

STICK ' EM UP!

Hello everyone...

Welcome to Delightful Thursday with Digital Delights ..another lovely day with light winds.. a bit gusty at times..but leave the washing out it will be just fine...well, so they said on the radio in the car this morning..the weather people must have had their blinds shut..the nitwits..

Onto today then...and I have a really cute card to share using this fabulous image from the Digital Delights shop  called 'Lil' Billy 

Look at that sweet face..I'm sure he would not  do any hold up's or things like that..

'Lil' Billy  is coloured with Faber Castell pencils...his shirt and pants with a copic B45 and his scarf R17...the stars also had a dose of copics Y08....

Papers are Authentique "Endless and Fair Weather"..

The cactus was a freebie from the net and then the button overload just happened...

Billy was fussy cut out and popped up on foam tape.

So there we go...into the pineapple lumps tonight...think I over did the pixie caramels  and they got the better of me..lol..

SANTA'S LITTLE HELPER

Hello Everyone...

Monday evening for me and had such a beautiful day weather wise...starting to get warmer every day and lighter in the mornings...have the blinds open at 7am now.

I have done my first EVER hostess post over at the  Digital Delights Blog  and was so nervous...isn't it silly to feel like that...now that is is done it was a piece of cake...

So I'm here now on my own blog to share my card I made using this gorgeous digi from the Digital Delights Shop 

Meet Christmas Bongo  ...

Look at those gorgeous brown puppy eyes...so cute.

Bongo was coloured up with Faber Castell pencils..and added glossy accents to his eyes...

His hat and stocking I used a red and green copic...R17 & YG17..pencils for shading..
and glittered the trim and pom pom...

The sentiment is a set from Digital Delights Christmas Sentiment Set  ..even on his stocking...

Papers are 12x12 Couture "Jolly Christmas"....the big flower and leaf is a Marianne die and the small flowers from my stash...

The lovely red ribbon is from the Post office...now I bought 5 bundles of these in different colours as I could not believe what I was seeing in the sale box at the post office..$1.99 per bundle..2 metres of each...and it is beautiful gross grain ribbon..called  'Wrapture Design'..crazy price..

LETS GO FISHING WITH STAMPFAIRY

Hello Everyone...
Sunday night here and this morning I woke up to a thick crunchy frost...brrr..it was freezing..but turned in the most glorious sunny day..not too much heat..just right.

Here today to share another card of cuteness for my DT for STAMPFAIRY 

This is Barry Fishing ..

Barry has been away on holiday so I'm so happy to have him back...

His boat has been paper pieced with MME Miss Caroline 'Dolled up' scraps...

Barry has been coloured with Faber Castell pencils..the sky inked up with distress ink and sponges...

The bottom of the sea has seed beads in yellows and greens and the rocks are mountain stamps from ' Impression obsession'...Marianne creatable leaves made into coral...and the wee tyre I swiped borrowed off my grandsons racing cars..that car will be in the pit stop for a looong time.

A SWEET THANK YOU!!

Hello Everyone..

Started off with a beautiful Spring like morning and now has turned to ....rubbish..
Raining windy and chilly...and I have a hole in my shoe...awww.. poor me..but would rather buy papers..lol..

Here today with my Stampfairy  DT card...and we have sweet Lenny saying a thankyou..from the Lenny Notes Collection ..

Lots of buttons from my stash too...sort of got carried away...the sentiment stamps are from a clear set..

Lenny is all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and a red copic tie R17.

The papers are MME 'Lost and Found Two' and made two layers with the same papers...love the spots....and of course a manbow from scraps...

NEVER SMILE AT A CROCODILE!!

Hello Everyone...

Back again and this time it is Delightful Thursday with a new release from Digital Delights  ...

This month we have a fab set inspired by J.M. Barries Peter Pan!
Meet Crockie ..

Don't get scared with this little guy..he is a cutie.[look at the watch..]

Crockie was all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils...[look at the watch..]

The map was printed onto kraft...them screwed up..stomped on..inked..and treated real badly...to give it an old look...

The netting is an old hairnet and added a strip of gingham ribbon and some  little black buttons all from my stash...[keep looking at the watch...]

Papers from my stash and the watch is from a magazine...enticing me to buy at least once a month and giving away fob watches every month...well, I only wanted the one so bought one issue.

I wasn't trying to hypnotise you with the watch..it's just that the watch really does work and you can see the minute hand going around in all the photos....cool huh!.
