SOMETHING GIRLY

Hello Everyone...

Saturday night here and had a bit of a bad day..I lost a client...so sad. She was a new one and I didn't know her well, but it still gets you.

Have a card and box set to share today...all pink and pretty. A client ordered it for a 100 year old Nun from her Parish for her birthday next week...

The lighting was a bit off as I took them early evening..

This is the card and box together..with loads of WOC flowers..

The Box front...and love the fern leaf die from Memory box and the butterfly...who just does not want to cut properly unless I use baking paper [still have not bought a metal shim]..

The side view of the card...lots of string pearls around the edge...beautiful lace and a simple bow.

Challenges to enter...

Simon Says   [Special Lady /Girly]

Make My Monday   [girly birthday]

Inky Chicks  [flowery]

Crafting for all Seasons  [Girly girl]

In the Pink   [For a special Lady]

That's it...I must just tell you..I left myself a comment to see how my comment window was popping up and was going to delete it but it published on it's own..lol..how embarrassing..I like myself..lol..

Thanks ever so much for stopping by...hopefully see you Monday.

luv CHRISSYxx

Hi Chrissy this is a real stunner. Beautiful detail and I love your butterfly die it's so delicate. You really should get a metal shim they are so useful! I do find a lot of MB dies need it. Sorry to hear about your client. I always found it upsetting when we lost a patient and even more so when people used to say oh I suppose you are used to it by now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend hugs Susan x

Gorgeous! I don't think I would have dared to take on the challenge of making a card for a 100 year old nun, I would be list for ideas. But this is beautiful and appropriate for the occasion.

I'm so sorry to hear that news Chrissy. Makes you sad to forge relationships like that, even new ones, and lose them all the same. Hope the family is doing okay. As for your box and card..WOW! Much pressure in creating this for someone turning 100?? I'd of been stressed out. You made a beautiful birthday present for her and the colors are gorgeous!!
