VERY PINK AND A TOTAL ACCIDENT!!

Hello Everyone...

WOW!! it is so cold here in NZ today with a cold Wintery blast from the south...so glad I live in the North Island on the east coast...still freezing but better than down South...

Onto todays project which I made a few weeks ago and just been staring at it....wondering...

Another mixed media canvas and...PINK...

Now this was not pink when I was sticking stuff down...it went pink when I added modge podge to seal things and the dye from the [cheap] papers spread all over the place...lol..so had to spray a bit more up the top to match.

I didn't have a chipboard window or die, so I stamped one and fussy cut it out..then coloured it with Distress inks..

The little birdie is chipboard and the nest is a  cardboard sticker...made a twine bow and you would think I was born with only thumbs as I find this so hard to do for some reason.

Memory box or Poppy leaves die and bubble stickers for the lettering....brick wall stencil..moulding paste [my old one...but have found beautiful soft paste now and very happy with it..]

All the flowers and gems etc are from my stash and they went pink too..so added more spray paint to even things up..

Anyway it is what it is and I had such fun doing it..

Challenges to enter....

Through the craftroom door   [anything goes]

Thanks so much for stopping by...off to find another jumper and have to go out soon to do the tea rounds and not a pleasant evening for that I assure you...

"My lady" is still going strong although we thought we were loosing her a week or so ago...I was so worried, but again, she bounced back and still going at 97...her memory is worse than ever and am I sure she is in her own bed, because she does recognise the dressing table...lol..

luv CHRISSYxx
