A DAY WITH HOLLY AND HER BABIES...

Hello Everyone...

This was my conversation with the cat the other morning...

" Good morning Holly..how's the family this morning.."

" They are fine..don't fuss I haven't moved them or nothing.."[ but said in a meow because I cannot understand all the cat language yet..]

" Are you ready for breakfast? "...

" In a minute, got some stuff to do first"...

" Why are you in here you goose..I've got work before I can play...go see your babies or come have breakfast"..

...............................................................................................................................................................
.........................................................she was taking a long time coming out to the kitchen........

WHAT!!!!!...this is not the wardrobe...what have you been up to?...what are they doing in here?..

" They wanted to move here..tis true I tell you."..

" Oh, grief Holly..all over my lovely drapes...really!!...well, as long as you watch them and no messes, then you can all stay in here for now"...

Well, this lasted a week and few days and all was well............ until..............

This morning my day off and I got up and just the usual day... nothing to worry about and then realised the craftroom was very still and quiet...

OH NO!..yep, you guessed it....they had gone again...this time behind MY drapes in my bedroom..
I never took photos of that as was so quick in getting them out of there and into the dog cage I bought..

Mama is NOT impressed at all and several times she has had a kitten in her mouth carrying it out into the living room where she has a place up inside my couch to put them..I've been watching her getting in there for a few days now.

The kitties have their eyes open and wandering around..they can come and go from the cage but get locked up if I'm not home...just in case.

The white one has a home and so does the silver and grey tabby...the little runt on the bottom of the heap...well, his name is Wicket and he has bung eyes which I'm trying to treat and he is tiny compared to the others..they dont usually let him in their cuddle time, he sits out on his own..so , yes, I'm keeping him.

They are so cute and so much fun to play with and have stolen my craft time away from me, but I don't care... they are only three weeks old..

So if I don't get back from now until Christmas..I could be in the dog house..I just want to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and all the very best for 2018..

See you in the new year...

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh Chrissy, they're soooo cute. Holly makes a great mum! When one of mine had kittens (about 30 years ago!) I kept the runt of the litter. He was plain black when they other 2 were pretty colours and he was smaller than them too, but he was always with me and I loved him. Happy Christmas lovely lady. Look forward to seeing your creations (and your kittens!) in 2018. xx

Chrissy, your new family is quite adorable. You are so sweet to be dealing with this protective Mama and her precious little ones. ENJOY!!! It is the small things that make the BIG difference, boy I feel like I'm getting OLD because in my youth...I would have to complete my lists and be task oriented...now I feel like yes there are priorities, but some of the distractions are worth it.

Awww... I love kittens and these guys and mama cat are so cute! I'm glad you are keeping Wicket.. poor little guy being excluded from the cuddles is kind of sad.
You are wise to have them in the crate when you are gone... those little beggars can get into so much trouble on their own.
Have a Merry Christmas Chrissy!
