A TAG FOR TUESDAY WITH A LADYBIRD..

Hello everyone..

I was over on Facebook the other day and saw a challenge for Tag Tuesday and the theme was use a ladybird, well, how cute, I LOVE ladybirds, so off I went and made a tag or 3..

It all began with these cute tiny tags that I found in my stash ans tossed over there somewhere, then moved them over there and nearly put them in a box, except one of the staples jabbed me in the finger, I cursed, then decided to open them and spray them..and that didn't worh as the gloss spray just vanished into the kraft card..so I grabbed my oxides and away I went..

I used yellow and blue for the background and left them to dry...

Then I sprayed olive green through a stencil and forgot that oxides react with moisture and my leaves bled all over the place..so was my finger from the staple..

But I decide to make the best of a bad situation, and left them alone to get on with it and dry..

Then I glued wooden ladybirds on my tags and stamped a row of leaves on the side..and added a hello die, which is a lovely small size and fitted across the 2 1/2" tag..

I sprayed pretty heavily with shimmer spray and added string in the top of the tag..

A close up of the shimmer, they look so lovely and sparkly IRL..

So there we go..first time I've made tags and tiny ones at that..

Thanks so much for stopping by..not doing much today still got a sore finger and it is cold, might have to stay inside and play in my room, gosh it's a hard life..

Luv CHRISSYxx

I hope your finger is doing better, my family jokes about all my crafting injuries, but I know how much the right poke can hurt! I think you won the battle though, these little tags are so sweet!

Terrific tags ~ I loved reading the creative process, blood and all because we all do that; don't we?! I like the way the leaves turned out and how you layered more stamped leaves. wonderful happy little tags to add to a card or a gift bag.
