THANKS..

Hello everyone..

I've had a big day in my back garden today and I'm suffering, I just could not stop and I kept telling myself enough is enough, but I kept going and I am stiff and sore now and to honest it does not look that great yet as I ran out of stones and there are still bricks laying around....but, there is always tomorrow and I will get it done.

I have a Rooster thank you card to share today..the colours look a bit funny, must have been the light that day or too much foil..

So here he is, all staunch and proud..not a lot of colouring on this one as he is white but went round the edges of him with a grey pencil..but coloured his wattle under his beak and the comb on top of his head..[I googled that..lol..]

All the leaves are die cuts from a Tonic Studio card kit ages ago and cut them out using some foil cardstock from my stash..the chicken wire was cut with the silver grey card stock..

I love the gingham papers and water colour papers too, added the thanks sentiment and it went off to it's new home and she was delighted..

So there go, I'm popping this on schedule as I don't think I will get back up off this couch today..
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh my goodness what a really cute rooster and a stunning design with all of your die cut and embossed pieces! Beautifully put together and a lovely country style design! I do the same thing with yard work which is not a great idea if you have arthritis in your back! LOL! It's good to move, but not too much! Take care friend!

Gingham is somehow the perfect accompaniment to a cockerel - that rustic kitchen/farmhouse vibe, I suppose. In any case, it's a charming card.

Do look after yourself - krok za krokem, as the Czechs say... "step by step" - and rest in between. The garden will still be there tomorrow!!
