WHAT WAS I THINKING..

Hello everyone...

Well, I'm nearly there with this room change over, but what was I thinking, how did I possibly imagine that a few feet would make a lot of difference?..

How did all this stuff come out of that small room?..Why won't it fit into this bigger room?..Why am I so unorganized?...Why did I think that putting it back in a new design would work?..

Okay, as you can tell I'm struggling and if I get any fatter I wont fit round my island..ha ah ha..

Here are some photos so far, I'm not happy but time will tell and  I will probably rearrange a LOT..

Old craft room, I have half in half..

Old bedroom half and half...

Bed in new room, bit snug but I slept like a baby last night..

The furniture is old, but I was given it when "My Lady "died..and still love it, just split the sections up to fit in my room..

Bookcases and trestle in the new craft room and table right in the middle...

TV set up in between which a new design and that is what is throwing me off...

Holly doing an inspection,  and I know the bricks look tacky, but it was a cheap fix, free, and works for me, gives me 8 inches in table height as I stand to craft..

All my flowers in a group together this time...that has thrown my shelf organization too, but I will get used to it..

Holly tried out the bedroom and bed, didn't like my pillow or my PJ's and they were rearranged cat style!!!

Now the stuff going in..groan..it was much for fun getting it out, than putting it back...

Why is it, the containers fit so nice on the shelf  but there is always an odd number and slightly different style..I need to let  it go don't I..lol..

I had the bright idea to have the trestle running along the wall behind me so I can just turn around and die cut or emboss, but I forgot totally about my PC so had to add it to the end of the trestle which took up precious space..

Early days yet I suppose, everything will find a space and I LOVE my cubes and will never changed them out...YET!!..

Got the telly working..yay..

More cubes, these house all my dies in clear refrigerator bins..perfect, for me, and under the window,  which is what I tried in the other room,  and liked it,  but missed the table that was there for die cutting and I got all cramped and stuff..lol.. but now the table is behind, so fingers crossed xxxx..

I also put this cube back up on my desk which I wasn't going to do, but a creature of habit,  I missed it and now I can hide stuff again..

So that's it for now, I'm shattered but happy, the venetian blind man has just been and removed the blind to clean and repair so it will be good to get that this afternoon, it is cloudy today so not a lot of sunshine, but when that sun shines I will have to work with sunglasses on..and my windows are filthy, I need to go clean them..on the outside...

Thanks so much for stopping by..
Sorry there were so many photos but you did ask..and I aim to please..😍

See you soon..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh my goodness, I couldn't do it now, I have one desk and that is it, I donated most of my stuff a few years ago and now I if it doesn't fit on my desk I don't get it, I am streamlined as my hubby says as it kind of does take over everywhere, and I much more enjoy crafting now, good luck, it does look nice though, hopefully you will enjoy it
much more, hugs Pops x

Wow what a great set up. I love the table on bricks as you get an extra 4 cube spaces for your lesser used supplies .

Oh you poor dear! I feel your pain though as this is why I refer to my stamp room as a "janitor's closet"! LOL! There's so much stuff and I should be doing the exact same thing your doing here! I think it looks great and you will be so happy once it's all organized how you want and will be much easier for you to work with! Thanks for sharing my friend! HUGS

Oh my word that is an enormous task you have taken on Chrissy but you are doing a great job. I had loads and loads and loads of stash, it filled my livingroom the last time I shifted and my livingroom is enormous and my craft room is not so I downsized a lot of stuff next door to my daughter-in-law. Unfortunately I sometimes go to look for stuff I gave away and could kick myself lol. I like the idea of working standing up!! Bound to be much healthier and what a great cheap fix!! Good luck with the rest of it and knowing you it will work perfectly for you.

Wow, what a lot of work, but it looks so great and functional. I'm sure you will be hunting things for a couple of days, but that will change. Would you please come organize me?

What a lot of work you have done, you are so organized! I'm sure after a couple of heavy crafting days, you will feel right at home. Now, will you please come organize me?

You are an inspiration to us all...you mad woman!! What a brilliantly organised space and I am pleased to see that Holly got involved with the process just to make sure you were doing it right!! When Connor came home, following his split with Laura and the sale of their apartment, I had to move my stuff out so that he could move his in!! I am now in the box room where I can just about turn in my chair and my paper mountain is creeping across the landing to meet us at the top of the stairs!! xx

You will soon get used to it Chrissy and it looks fine to me. You can always move things around, if you are not happy where you have put things. I love the cubes and I have got all my papers in colour coded boxes. Holly looks like she is happy with the change!! Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx

Thanks for sharing the photos, Chrissy! It's a great space, and looks like you have all the necessary items close at hand. I'm sure you'll do a little tweaking as you work in the space but that's all part of the fun! :o)
