LITTLE RED WAGON..DT

 Hello everyone,

This is a late post for me and I will be tucked up in my bed when this goes live...so lets begin and welcome to my Little Red Wagon  #587 post where Kate is hostess today and her challenge is..

Total Eclipse of the Heart (anything heart-themed)

Well, that sounds like fun, so here is my heart project..

I have had these dies for a very long time and have not used them for YEARS..so die cut out the long hearts three times..once in red foil card, once in black, and once in pink glitter card stock..

I used the black frame part and popped it back inside the red..

Then used the pink glitter card hearts and popped them inside the frame..

So pretty and shiny..

Then came what I thought would be easy, and that was adding the word die LOVE..so cut it out in pink which took forever as the glitter card does not like to be cut, but finally had it done and popped it on the card and it looked AWFUL..it just did not work for me at all, so went with black and it came out much better...

I then have these adorable wooden hearts and added them along with some very tiny pink glitter hearts from another die..

Not too bulky for posting either..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by, hope you can come over and play..

See you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

A striking and fabulous card using your lovely die cuts Chrissy- the black wording was def. the better choice, it contrasts so beautifully with the shiny red background.

Beautiful! I'm sure IRL it is even more beautiful with all that gleam. At least you have another card started with the sparkly pink LOVE1

What a pretty die this is Chrissy. LOve your Colours and design.
I tend not to use a lot of the dies I bought years ago! Shame really cause when the odd one gets used? Tend to fall in love with them all over again. Plus the fact don't think people use too many of them just on the one card? Could be just me lol.

Hi Chrissy, you asked how did I get the hearts to float in my Valentina card. Thin, very thin strip of acetate which is thinner than the heart at the top....and glue to the back of the Main object, re the big heart....xx

At first it looked like you were going completely and totally CAS, but then came the glitter and wooden hearts and those fabulous letters, a truly elegant design.

What a lovely card, Chrissy - and how wonderful you pulled out some dies that you have not used in ages! The metallic red is just perfect for Valentine's Day too!
