FRUIT SALAD..DT

 Hello everyone,

A new challenge is all set to go over at LITTLE RED WAGON  and your lovely hostess this week is IMKE  and her theme is " FRUIT SALAD" - any kind of fruit..

I am a shameful non fruit eater..lemons are about the only fruit I eat but with seafood, but I drink the juice in the Winter, well, and summer...I pop the occasional banana in, but nothing else is pleasant to me, I like bitter and sour..plus, I had no fruit stamps or dies that I am aware of..but, I have grape dies..

So grapes is my fruit [I prefer mine in a bottle, but only once in awhile]..

So die cut my grapes and coloured with Altenew inks and daubers..

Found these papers and in my eye they, were perfect..

So they were sorted and ready to go..

Then using satin card stock from my stash, I cut out this trellis slimline die..

Then cut it at a diagonal..

Messed around with the grapes and MESSED them up!! so filled the holes with glossy accents, and hopefully they come out okay..

Glued the trellis..and saved those little bits, you never know!

Added the bunches of grapes, but was thinking it needed something else..

Then remembered these gorgeous gems of many colours in my cupboard from Pink Fresh studio so got the out and added some inside the grapes..

Then I was happy...

Noe too much dimension...

And there she is with an envelope and "Just For You"

So do come over HERE  and link up your fruit projects, any project, boxes, tags, fronts of your shoes, what ever floats your boat, as long as there is fruit you are good to go..

Thank you so much for stopping by..brr..chilly again today with another watery sun but thanks Janette, I found my socks and my toes are nice and toasty..

See you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Haha Chrissy I am so glad you found them, that would have been dreadful:}
I love this card, you do such brilliant creations, you must dream designs, love that trellis and those grapes look yummy, I am not big into fruit although always have a bowl, sadly I like the wrong kind, such as apple pie and cream, pear tart and cream and so it goes..xx

I do love your cards Chrissy and the colours are brilliant. I do love strawberries and caramel ice cream, pineapple and the odd banana!! I don't buy fruit very often though. Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx

Another amazing card, Chrissy! Your narration of your creative mind is such a fun read. These grapes look good enough to pick off the vine and pop into your mouth (fresh or wine, either works for me=).

This is fabulous! I love what you did with the grapes and the added gems are perfect!

I didn't think I was a fan of fruit either....but growing up we usually only had oranges or apples....I still dislike oranges. Once I started trying other fruits out there, I realized there are lots I like. If you like lemons, what about grapefruit? Or cranberries or gooseberries? Ha....I just realized I sound like I'm working for The Eat More Fruits Authority or something. lmao

Know what you mean about fruit Chrissy. I am not very adventurous at all, mainly an apple a day keeps the doctor away lol. I love your gorgeous make and how the grapes (do love them but full of sugar lol and I'd rather save that for my chocolate) look like they are growing down the card. Perfect make!

Such a super card, Chrissy!! The layers and dimension are fabulous and the trellis makes for a wonderful background!

If we're ever on holidays together, I'll eat your fruit if you eat my fish!!
