STITCHING...DT

 Hello everyone,

Time a for another new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON and our lovely BRENDA is hostess with the theme STITCHING...ekk..

I have not threaded a needle for ever and forgot how to thread, let alone see, the needle in my machine, so I faux stitched it..

but first I had to cut out my Cone flowers..
and decided to colour them..

I really enjoyed doing these flowers as I found a couple of very pretty coral markers in my stash and had never used them..

The leaves were a pain..the inks didn't want to play together,
both alcohol but they just didn't mix well..

Never mind, forge on..

Oh, dimension, don't you love it..

Here is where the stitching came in..I used this wheel thing that was in my giant sewing box[ a gift from my Lady years ago]..ran it around the edge of my card and... stitching..

Flowers all made up...

And onto the card...

Nice dimension but too bulky...

Loved the white spots on the centers and my favourite Bee ever, from Hero Arts..

Added pink gems from Pink Fresh Studios..

And made this one a Thanks card..

And thank you so much for stopping by and hope you can come and join us..

See you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

A lovely card Chrissy and your stitching tool works really well. Love that bee die. Is that from Honeybee? x

Those flowers are just too beautiful Chrissy, is it a branded or not die, I just love them and am waiting for a EF with the same flowers from Lisa Horton, well I hope the flowers are the same, gorgeous. Anyway, I love this card its stunning and the roller wheel has been my go to for years, never could get a stitched die that was right so bought a couple of them and sent one to a craft friend, do the trick well don't they.xx

Oh wow!! Those cone flowers are gorgeous! Love the colour- so beautiful.
The faux stitching looks great- I have one of those wheely things, used to use it a lot, will have to find where I put it! The finished card is a stunner.
