Hello everyone...
Back with Stanley the seagull, he was going to be called Steve but my son rejected that idea, he didn't want to be associated with a strange paper bird.. then he was going to be Simon, but he didn't look like a Simon so Stanley it is..
And he is a shaker....just sitting there...waiting..
Lets give him a shake up..
And there he is all shook up..
The grass die and Stanley on the spade and small sand dune are on the outside glued to the accetate..the big sand dune is on the inside..textured linen card stock and swiped with a light tan ink..
No sentiment as yet, but one will come to me..
Thanks so much for stopping by..see you soon.
Luv CHRISSYxx
Stanley is sure shaking it up Chrissy, love this..xx
ReplyDeleteWell I think Stanley looks quite lovely sat there waiting to swoop down and pinch someones food, a fabulous card again Chrissyand I love the grasses too.xx
ReplyDeleteI love this one... the sequins at rest look like beautiful seashells and pebbles on the beach, and then you get the magical shaker effect too. Beautifully layered with the reeds in the foreground - it's another seashore triumph.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Stanley is just the right name for a seagull.

Cool shaker card and I'm not even sure a sentiment is needed on the outside. Stanley is a perfect name for him too. Love your card.

Well I believe Stanley is a cute little fellow and very fitting on your lovely scene there! What a fun and colorful shaker card Chrissy! HUGS
ReplyDeleteWell Stanley is a very lucky fellow indeed to be involved in such a fab card xx
ReplyDeleteWow, what a pretty scene you’ve created. The sequins make a great stone beach appearance, love the textured cardstock you used for the dunes and everything is so cleverly put together. I love this.
ReplyDeleteChrissy that shaker is amazing. Love that you are naming the seagull. I usually just call them (sh*$ birds) because that's all that they seem to do and leave rocks with a white layer of residue, lol. Stanley is better, hehe. You are so much nicer than me.
ReplyDeleteFabulous scene Chrissy, love your great shaker card.

A fabulous card Chrissy - Stanley looks a little more friendly than most of the seagulls where we live!
