TOTALLY TEDDIES..DT..

 Hello everyone,

" Totally Teddies " use a bear... (doesn't have to be teddy type)   is our theme for our new challenge starting today over at Little Red Wagon  and JanR is our hostess this week...

I went with my favourite Bear, Barry, and coloured him the only way that makes me happy using my Faber Castell pencils...



I started with my lightest pencils and scribbled some colour on..


Around the edges with my reddish brown..pretty eh!..


Then started blending with my blending solution..


Until he was all smooth and the scratchy lines have disappeared..


I did use markers for his hat and cupcake...


And the background which took forEVER..my pen was a touch dry and no refill?


Then I found in my stamp stash this adorable cupcake stamp..


So stamped, coloured and fussy cut out..


An arty shot showing only a small amount of dimension..


The balloons were paper pieced and the strings die cut out along with them..

    Such a cutie Chrissy and I love the colouring, I use chalks for backgrounds mostly and do love pencils for fur, mainly because I suck colouring animals.xx

    Amazing coloring, Chrissy ! What kind of blending solution do you use ? I also have Faber Pastell pencils but i did not use something for blending.
