Hello everyone..
I wasn't going to do my Halloween stuff until later but as I've already done two for a challenge, and have another for a challenge, I may as well carry one for the week..so here we go....
I like to enter as often as I can into the Geck Galz challenges..
on their blog or Facebook..
This is my project...
Tombstones, I needed them and looked online for pictures and the shape jumped out at me and I knew I had a spellbinders die which would be perfect....and it was.
This Tim Holtz gate needed some work, and as I got in early this time and ordered the new distress Mica sprays and pastes, they had to come out to play....
And they came out a treat...
I needed grass, cut in green card stock, and used my ink pad to smoosh some shading on..
and added the grass in between layers of black card...to make a graveyard.
My "Tombstones" got some Mica spraying and a dose of Grit paste..
Then layered the headstones in the grass...
These were the images I chose from Gecko Galz and fussy cut them both out..
The inside of the card I stamped with oxide ink Antique Linen using my crackle stamp..
Added the bird sitting on a die cut branch and after cutting the book off,
I gave him a skull to hold..
The gates were added and the graveyard kept them open for me..
The skull was added to the moon, for some eerieness..
And after some serious splattering, I was done..
Thank you so much for stopping, I'll see you tomorrow..
Luv CHRISSYxx
