Hello everyone,
A new challenge up and running over at As You Like It and theme is " Non Traditional Easter Character".. so no bunnies or chickens please or I will close my eyes... or take off my glasses and that would be worse, and do not forget to tell us why this character is your favourite.
So onto my project...
I have had this die forever and have used it many times for different Easter and even Christmas projects...and he is huge!
Then started die cutting small ovals for eggs out of card stock and patterned papers..
added black card behind my dog so you can see his spots instead of holes..
trust me, holes scare small children!!
Slimline card already to go with clouds and grass..
To make my round bottomed grass I used a circle die to cut the bottom of a straight edge..
then added layers...
Here's my dog balancing his egg on his nose, such a clever boy..
and more eggs tucked away in the grass..
I die cut a banner and added black alpha stickers to spell Easter..
Coming together...
The HAPPY was more of those stickers from my stash...
Added some hearts and a gold butterfly and I was done...

Aww, I LOVE your easter dog Chrissy- much better than a bunny or chick in my opinion- bet they can't balance easter eggs on their noses! Love the way you made him into a Dalmation too- no dog should have holes!! A beautiful card.
