Have I mentioned I love making masculine stuff and nautical with it..
This time I ventured beyond my comfort and made a crisscross card and tag.
the base..
arched tag..
Stamperia gorgeous collection of die cuts
and ephemera..
papers were12x12 as that's how I buy them..
and covered the card panels and tag..
love this netting paper..but I needed something more..
so out came the onion bag netting and it made my card smell tasty.

ReplyDeleteThat is so cool, love the papers and ephemera, like the criss cross design too. I have always wondered how to get the netting to stay in place. That was a great touch with it for sure!

The mix of nautical elements and masculine textures works so well here. The crisscross structure gives everything a sense of movement, and the way you layered the Stamperia pieces with both the printed netting and the onion bag adds so much character. The tag is a standout on its own with that bold lighthouse, and the whole project feels cohesive, tactile, and full of personality.
