HIGHLAND COWS ALBUM..

 Hello everyone,

last year my daughter and son in law went for a trip over Europe and UK and Scotland..Scotland was to see her favourite animal of all time..HIGHLAND COWS..

When they came home she was sharing pictures  on Facebook etc so I right clicked and saved, re sized and printed made her an album for her birthday in March..now I can share.

I made the album with the hinge technique, so easy and as long as you keep an eye on it it will be straight!!
The inside hinges were covered with sunflowers paper as I think it looks better.

with the hinge gluing the book spreads all the way open.
So I will start with the cover and end with the cover and not say another word, unless I find it very very important..

So there you go..

Thank you so much for stopping by, so much appreciated..
I'll see you again soon..

luv CHRISSYxx

PS, she absolutely loved it and had no idea that I was doing it, so that made me happy because boy is she a snoop and can pick up on things, but not this..

  12. Such a joyful project, and the love behind it shines through every page. The mix of tartan, sunflowers, lace, and pockets gives the whole album a warm, homespun richness that suits those Highland cow photos perfectly. The hinge construction looks beautifully straight and sturdy, and the way the book opens flat makes the images feel even more immersive. It is easy to see why she was thrilled with it, especially since you managed to keep the whole thing under wraps.
