MAKING STRIPES..

Hello everyone..

I ran out of stripe paper..I cannot print any out as my printer hates me..so, I figured, why not make my own, so I did..

Ruler and black marker, and we had striped papers...

And lots more die cut leaves and a couple of flowers which were not designed for cards..

Doily's out of my stash..

The flowers, one was a floating flower, lik ethe floating candles and came in a set of three but I used the others ages ago.., the green thing was it's floating rubber,  and the big one was a hair clip,I pulled their slides off and I had two flowers..this is the first time I used them, must have been in my stash for at least five years..

I'm really pleased how these cards came out, I love the yellow leaves..

Pretty...

Lovely dimension...

This one the postie will need a real strong back..

More yummy dimension..

So pretty, I need to go buy more hair clips now..

So there we go..

Thank you so much for stopping by and all my Birthday wishes the other day, here and on Facebook, so kind and very much appreciated..

See you tomorrow..

  10. Gorgeous cards Chrissy love the beautiful flowers and leaves-the yellow ones do look effective.Great idea to make your own striped paper-my printer has the attitude of a teenager slow to get going then when finished printing spits out the paper halfway across the room!!!At least we all seem to be getting through our hoarded stash.

  11. Chrissy your are amazing I just can't believe YOU would run out of striped paper, but you do make multiples of everything so....
But you are so creative to just make your own. Sorry that you are having problems with your printer. Your cards are stunning as usual.

  12. Who needs a printer?! That's creativity in action... I also love the yellow leaves, but also the whole design of soft florals against the bold graphic patterning of the stripes - lovely.
