FINDING CHIPBOARD BUTTERFLIES..

Hello everyone..

I have 15 mins to get this post done as I have a chocolate cake in the oven, it is 5.30 PM and had my pork chop for dinner with all the trimminmg of course, then decided to make a chocolate cake..so simple, all in the bowl, beat it, pour into pan, cook 30 mins..nice.

So I was fishing around in containers and boxes and garage sale stuff I had picked up, and I found a  Chip board Butterfly circle, cut it in half as you do and made two cards..

So pretty and a good size for 6x6 cards..

Homemade wide striped papers and a doily, I didn't make the thin stripes..that was in my scrap box and just enough for circles..

But I did punch and die cut my flowers and leaves..

Added pearls in the flower centres which had been sponged with Altenew ink..

And there they are..

Thanks so much for stopping by and thanks for your lovely comments on my altered canvas, have another to share soon..

See you tomorrow..

  1. Wow Chrissy - these are really striking! I love the striped center - such an amazing focal point with the complimentary chipboard butterfly and lovely flowers! May I ask how did you get the chipboard to stick? It looks so delicate! And YUM on the chocolate cake - what time can we come over! :)

  9. Awesome card Chrissy. You know how to make the most of your supplies. The reason that I cut the top of the Nuvo drops is that it wouldn't flow so I thought it wasn't open, but apparently it was clogged somewhere. So when I gave it a squeeze it burst. So far, I have not been able to get it out of the carpet, argh.
