Two more projects to share today and showing how I did my other portholes which was a lot more fun..
I think they look great and I really enjoyed making them..
I cut a few circles and then scored them, well, the one that was going to be on top of the circle frame I scored, saves a lot of time..
Then inked them up with Vintage photo distress ink [ my new favorite ink]
Then punched these gold dots and glued them altogether and stuck them on around the porthole..
My first card with red papers and sailing boats in the frame..
The side view...
And a close up, love my chipboard anchor and just left it as nature intended...okay I forgot to paint it, but it still looks good..
Then we have the same papers but in blue, a nice navy and white..
Some seagulls and a compass die cut...and a sailors knot in some thin rope..
And a side view...
So there we go, getting through them, and once that is done I will get onto some mixed media that I have been playing with..
Thanks so much for stopping by..
Luv CHRISSYxx

I love how you made your own portholes and used them as frames. Super nautical papers and details with rope. These kind of designs work for both men and women and I do love that about a card.
