CLASSIC DESIGN DT..

Hello Everyone....

I was just sitting here minding my own business and remembered it was my childhood girlfriends Birthday today, the things you remember, and kept saying it was the 1st July today, hope she was having a good day etc etc...then the penny went into the slot and I nearly choked on my tea as I had forgotten to do my posts for the first of the month..this retirement thing is getting hard...lol..

So without any further delay, here is my project for Classic Design our anything goes challenge is up and running..

Our FABulous sponsor this month is FABRIKA FANTASY  and the team were able to choose images to play and I chose this beautiful Seahorse, well, of course I did, I have an under the sea or even on top of the sea fetish.

My image is called...  BEAUTIFUL SEAHORSE  

He was coloured with my markers then fussy cut out and added to my underwater scene..

Which started out as a cardboard box...

After cutting the panel I wanted it was painted with Gesso and textured with modelling paste and a knife....

Then sprayed with Kaisercraft sprays in Turquoise..

I also sprayed another piece of card with several greens and blues..

And cut out a frame for my Seahorse..

The frame edge and glass beads....and I inked around the edge of the oval die cut too..and layered it up for dimension..

The coral and seaweed and gritty sand....

And there he is in all his glory..
