PORTHOLE..

Hello everyone...

I'm sharing another masculine card today with a porthole window....well, not really a porthole, more like a life ring..

I LOVE making masculine style cards especially nautical ones..

For this one I cut out at least 5 circle frames, glued them all together, and then wrapped sections of the circle with twine.....the gold dots are punched with one of those hand punches 1/16 inch I think..
I cut out loads of them and glued them into thick little brad types studs..

Here we go, I knew I had a picture somewhere, I have a whole bunch of nautical cards to share doing this style..notice this window is already inked up...the one I'm showcasing is not..

Here is a side view and I added that wicked Anchor, I bought a real large one and got 5 of theses little guys with it...then threaded red twine through a tag on top...

The other side..

So there we go..

Thank you so much for stopping by..
We had a little bit of sunshine today and someone found it..

This is now my new screen saver..see you is a couple of days..

  10. Your twine-wrapped porthole-cum-lifebelt is really charming - a rustic/nautical combination that works so well. And never mind the men, I'd be more than happy to receive that card!

    Love the sun-seeking feline too...
