AUTUMN OR WINTER..DT

 Hello everyone,

Time for another challenge over at As You Like it  and this fortnight Squirrel has set the scene and looking for Autumn or Winter..

I love both seasons as I don't like heat, but the colours of Autumn pushed through so I went for Autumn..

Embossing powders..not my favorite thing, but I try.

And I tried them through a stencil, something a bit different..

Love this leaf stencil and smooshed sticky ink through it the best I could..

Added three spoons full of powder and three colours..

Made a terrible mess..

But not as bad when the stencil came off..

Then heat set...

Gathered all my bits that I wanted...

 and started laying them on..

Dimension not too extreme..

Added flowers and gems from my stash and leftover trays,
cut the one flower in half, the white daisy and the white made a nice difference..and a hello sentiment using typewriter key puff stickers that I made..

And the we are all glued down and ready to go...

Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you can come over and  play..

See you tomorrow..

  9. WOW WOW WOW this is totally magnificent Chrissy I am sure you are setting new trends within the craft world, embossing through stencils is something that once again I would never thought of doing but like you I am not a big fan of wet embossing, probably because I can't find any of my embossing equipment, lol, the mix of texture and colours is stupendous

  14. I would probably have kept the design really simple to make the stencilled leaves be at centre stage, but I do love your magic of layering. It's an impressive design.
