Hello everyone,
I'm sharing today a commission project, I was asked if I could make a background of under the sea for a fish tank, not a huge one but big enough and also not for fish......it is for leggo under the sea animals..how fun..
I really needed my water paints for this one..
and these...didn't realize how many paints I had.
this is the size I made to play with...
the bit added on the bottom was allowed for with a slight trim after..
and the painting began, 14 layers in all drying in between
water paint dries so fast so not a lot of waiting..
the sand along the bottom was splotched on with a sponge..
All oceans have a sunken ship, so I die cut one and water painted that too..
and really grunged and rusted it up and added some moss.

and then an interruption...not that I minded, oh, what could it be...
How exciting and I wasn't expecting it on this day..
You cannot leave me along for a minute on the computer
when there are sales on, really you cannot..
Background layers all finished here and the sand absorbed my painting???
These are so fun to work with, fiddly, but fun..
This is the die cut base, in green and purple.
Then these little ovals get glued on top...
There's a treasure chest, plants ,a sea turtle, rocks ( up side down clouds) shells,
bubbles and fish, a lot going on in this fun scene, the child loved it and busy building his Leggo sea creatures to put in it..
and the background all finished...
so there you go..

You made a fantastic job of it, so colourful and fun with loads of details to discover and fire the imagination, a wonderful home for the lego creatures.
