TAG IT IN RED AND GREEN..

 Hello everyone,

Now, these tags are not part of my monthly long adventure of getting Christmas stuff done, I made these yesterday because I am all done with my Christmas stuff and had nothing left to do, even orders are done, and it is too hot outside, and besides, who really wants to go outside when you have a craftroom..so I stayed inside and made these tags for Tag -along and ATCs challenge.

I started with white tags, I cut about 20 of the the other day to keep
the tag box full..and planned using up scraps of red and green,
in stripe form, to fill up the tag..

and I did..but!

I got bored sooooo...out came all my scraps and chose as many red and green I had..

okay, went orangey as well, but red and green was predominate

love the trimming of them and watching the tag shape sort of come alive..

Two done..

Is there a tag here?

Yes, there is, and already for a trim.

then there was 6..

I die cut this beautiful tree from Marriane Creatables in a line coloured foil
and another slightly darker lime and one red glitter, the glitter is terrible to cut, hence only one.

Time for presents..cut in white..

Bows coloured with markers and edges inked with vintage photo distress ink.

Then each one backed with gold. red, or green..

Very easy to do and they look good.

So glued them all in place and now time for more tags..

Sentiment tags,

stamped in black and rusty bells added with gold twine cotton stuff
which kept fraying and I became nauseated ..lol..

Finally got them all threaded, I put a little dot of glue on the ends  of the thread and smooshed it and that stopped the fraying and my bad temper.

a close up of sentiment.

This is my first tag and entering this one at Tag- Along  (and ATC'S )

All together and those trees are so shiny and pretty..

thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you tomorrow..

Very cute tags, Chrissy. I hope you recovered from the fumble fingers, I always get in a huff over that. Do NOT get me started on child-proof packaging, please lol. xoxo

Always a great idea to get some done for next year ahead of time :). Great use of your scraps and you managed to use quite a bit of them too. Like your cute presents under the trees and topped off with the sentiment tags. Yes when it is too hot or too cold out side the craft room is the best place to go!
