Hello everyone,
I'm back already as I had such fun making some tags..
there were four of these pre cut tags in my box but one got accidently glued to my desk and I would rather not talk about how the heck I did that..so started with three tags.
I then stenciled Fossilized Amber( TH ) oxide ink
through it here and there..
then die cut theses tulips and then had
a go at sponging colour on them using more oxides
Glued the flowers in place ( Fossilized Amber again )
out came the butterfly drawer and picked this one..
then I made two more..coloured the same with oxides
Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet and
matching butterflies..
added some ruffle gingham lace upside down for grass
along the bottom and black ribbon in the top tab..
This was my favourite and first tag so going to enter this one at Tag-along(and ATC's)
a close up of stamped sentiment..
So there you go..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you again soon..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh aren't these pretty Chrissy! Love your tulips and butterflies in the lovely spring colours- all 3 tags are gorgeous.... such a shame there isn't a fourth, but if you must glue tags to your desk... :D
xx
So verry beautiful, they could double as bookmarks too, which is what our challenge is at Double D, maybe add that to your post and you could then enter them there too!!

The soft stenciling sets such a warm spring mood, and the tulips look beautifully shaped with that gentle oxide shading. The butterflies add just the right lift, especially paired with the gingham ruffle that reads perfectly as textured grass. The trio works so well together, but the first tag really does stand out with its balance of color, detail, and that lovely sentiment.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful tags/bookmarks with us at Double D, they are gorgeous!!

Wow these are gorgeous!! I love the way you inked the flowers, gave them such pretty coloring that way, such pretty butterflies to go with them too. The ribbon and lace make such a pretty grassy border! I love the sentiment to go with them!
Well, at least you didn't glue your fingers together, lolol, ask me why I thought of that! Ugh not fun. But I must be wanting Spring badly, I'm coveting those delightful tags, well done! xoxo
