Mum's Time

                                                    Hi! Everyone..

Only had one client today....very quiet for a Friday for me...two in hospital, one away on holiday, and another has moved in with her son for a week or so as she's getting new bathroom....so that will be nice for me too...as I have to clean it.

My heads been in the clouds for the last few days...think I'm getting a cold or something...just feel heady!!
And thats not always good, as I start doing dumb things.......................................AHA!! You thought I was going to tell you the dumb things I've done...well I'm not...lol..no one in their right mind tells anyone that they put the milk in the cupboard instead of the fridge...............................

Have two cards today.......

This little cutie is for a clients Mum...it is a freebie from Squigglefly  and thats where the challenge is for this card...[add flowers] and my lady liked the image a lot so I made it for her. I've always loved black/white gingham ribbon and never used it....when I did, it did not look right, but this time, I stuck to my guns, and I think it looks ok. WOC flowers, papers from stash, and oh! so cute gingham brads...love these.

The second card....well.. that was a challenge alright, but had fun doing it.

This is for a challenge at Meljens designs and you have to make a business sized card. Thank goodness for digis...I expanded this little guy as I wanted a long image. I pulled and stretch him till he was just long enough.
Coloured with pencils, papers from stash again, WOC flowers, and that gorgeous blue/white spot ribbon, again out of my comfort zone, but liked it, except it sticks out the side too much.

The card I used was really quite red, and I wanted spotted paper...but did'nt have any...so I used pink!!!but for some strange reason it looks red.[ish]
I'm going to enter into the challenge at Ladybug Crafts ink to, their challenge is 'going dotty' seems fit to enter that one...

So there you go...two more done, and I made it through this post with my fuzzy head.....and no fresh milk...lol...

Thanks for stopping by...love reading your wonderful comments, thanks ever so much, catch you soon.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Hi sweetie these are gorgeous I love them both the gingham ribbon looks fabulous hun I love it. I love gingham ribbon I'm forever buying it but then rarely use....strange that lol. Your 2nd card hun looks pink on my laptop its a lush pink actually hun love both the images on these cards.
Talking of head in clouds thats my hubby a couple of months ago I brought a new kettle I love country style things for kitchen & I wanted that sort of style for my kitchen. So I went & paid £75 for the darn thing & then 2 weeks ago my hubby thought for some strange reason it was gas & so put it on my gas hob. It still works but the bottom is melted in places & you have to fiddle it a bit on the base before it will turn on lol. I've told him he owes me a new kettle.....he's not too happy bout that for some reason lol.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Great cards Chrissy - and the gingham ribbon looks perfect on that card. Love those gingham buttons too, they're fab! Great Meljen design card and I think it adds something to it if the ribbon is on the edge (hope you're not!)...hope you feel better for the next posting.
Hugs,
Teresa
