Orange...could be my new Pink...

Hi !Everyone,

Hope you are all well and busy crafting, keeping cool..or warm...

We are having a wee polar blast at the moment in NZ...extremely high winds, rain in lots of places, and my neighbour lost half his roof on Monday night. My dog 'Harry' was whining most of the night right next to my bed...which kept me awake more than the wind. I took him outside to show him it was only wind and he settled a bit after that...10mins later the screech of iron being dragged off in 200k winds was heard, and I waited with baited breath for the crash into my house...but fortunately.. it drifted to the ground in his own yard..satelite dish and all...and rolled down his drive...so that was a night I dont wish to repeat...

Anyway the reason we are here...an orange card.

My first time..successfully...paper piecing..her hat and pants.I won 4 rubber Kenny.K. stamps in a blog hop from Bearly mine a couple of weeks ago, and this is the first one I've inked up.

Paper is from Basic Grey...ambrosia..chipboard flower, ribbon from stash.
Really enjoyed using orange..coloured with 3 copics..lol..and pencils.

This card is going in a challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink .....use orange.

Thats it for today...off to school to get the boys..and the sun just came out..yay!!!

Thanks for stopping by....love to hear from you..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Hi Chrissy, So glad to hear that both you and Harry are safe. How scary to think what could have happened. Here in good old Moses Lake, Wa we get some pretty stong winds. We have a huge pine tree in our backyard and I hate it. If it was to be blown over toward our house it could very well take out the kids' rooms. When the wind is bad I make everyone stay in the front of the house without telling them why. lol...Anyway enough blahhhing about that. I think you nailed this card. I love your paper piecing and I am not a huge orange fan, but thanks to Amy Young and now you I would have to say I am sold. Love it. Hope you had a great time with the boys. Hugs, Lisa
