Christmas Tree tutorial

Hello Everyone,

Thank you so much for all your comments on my Christmas tree, and due to the vast amount of enquiries on how I did this [3..lol] I decided to do a tutorial.

2" punch..[or spellbinders die or nesties, work too
scissors [dont have to be pink]
glue
and a triangle [I'm using brown, only so you can see better when adding the scallops.]

Cut out a load of scallops, 8 here, but I cut out about 2 more afterwards.

Cut each scallop in half, then into quarters...when cutting in half cut from valley to valley...into quarters cut right through the middle of the mountain.

                                                                       valley cut

                                                                        mountain cut

Start layering the quarter cuts from the bottom...and try to remember [not like me]..to have the rounded edge at the edge..looks nicer.

Layer 2...you could even cut the srtaight edge off for perfection if you want.

Layer 3...but if you know me, I dont do perfection...lol...plus I had a girlfriend sitting next to me while doing this talking about her holiday on Raratonga...as if I cared...much rather be here in the snow and cold winds..middle of winter...so much more fun.

And just keep going, right up to the top...easy peasy...just with one punch..

Hope it all made sense, and you enjoyed the tute...

Thanks for stopping for a looksee, and will carch you again...probably tomorrow.

Luv CHRISSYxx
