Little Bird

Hello Everyone,

Well, a very proud Nana here today...was invited to go to my G/sons presentation for end of year rugby, and they called his name out for 'most improved player'... I let out a whoop, went into coughing fit but worth every hack.I was so proud of him.
The team consists of mostly maori and samoan boys, and there is Zach....white hair, skin, blue eyes, tall and skinny, bless him, he certainly hs improved from when he first started, he stopped looking at the birds flying over the park, lost interest in aeroplanes and what everyone else was doing on the sideline, buckled down and played his heart out.
So with all that excitement [only 1 1/2 hours] I came home and coloured, and loved making this card...

A beautiful freebie from  Beary Wishes I just love this little birs and so easy to colour.
Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and blended with Archival oils.
Papers are from 'country companion', used my Fiskars lacey punch, flowers from WOC,half pearls, and a pin through the bow.

Have decorated the inside, but no sentiment yet...ok..I forgot.

But I really like this card, first time I've used this many flowers for a long time.

Entering a challenge at Moving along with the times  and they want to see 'Birdys'
Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to work to see 'my Lady' for awhile, then may get back to make a couple more cards, really did some colouring yesterday, now just have to build.......

Catch you all later, have a great weekend....

Luv CHRISSYxx

This is just the sweetest image and colored beautifully. Isn't it amazing what can get our mojo going and how creative that inspiration can be. So glad you got to see the game and what a proud Gma you must be. I don't think we ever missed one of the grandsons activities from the time they started playing sports and now that they are grown I sure miss those fun times. Enjoy every minute you can with them because they grown up way too fast.

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous creation. "Love & Hugs" Carol
