No Wedding

Hello Everyone,

Heres the clincher of the wedding drama......

There is only so much information you are given when making cards for folk, as we all know....

But the story goes like this.....

The [bride] is 75yrs old....the groom, 77yrs old...second time round for them have known each other for 40 years...he lives in a small town but with beautiful large property..well off..all good.

She owned her own home locally...and after all these years of talking, and meeting up occassionally, and being famiy orientated, he popped the question, she said 'yes' and it was all on.

The problem happened [now this to me is sad]...when it was suggested that she sell her house, gain a nest egg for herself, and move to his home.....this place is like a palace...
She [the bride] did just that...had a bank full of loot, had a decent looking man in the wings, sunshine on the horizon...but something snapped in her brain...and she suddenly lost the plot....would go to her old home and scream at the people to get out of her house...she wandered around dazed and got very confused...and finally  he was told, why take all this responsiblity on when it was his time to really enjoy life..and in one of her lucid moments she called it off....said she didnt want to move there, he was only after her money [he bathed in his bank account]....and she has come to live back here...with her kids...and they are going to deal with all this as they see fit.

so , thats the wedding saga...onto my card to share with you today...

Beautiful Teddy Bea skating along....

Coloured with pencils and lots of added glitter...fabulous and easy to colour...

Inside decorated as well......

Well, thats not much closer...but its there now, it can stay...
The challenge at TEDDY BO     is " A Christmas card, but red and green should not be seen"

Not one dot of red or green is on this baby...

Pink and brown and that is it...tiny little pearls for her buttons on her coat and one in the snowflake, and the ribbon, from my stash, is pale pink with a stripe of brown through the centre..perfect match.

Beautiful papers and, double sided, and who didn't write the name down...put your hand up...
came in a candy I won from Tracy T.

So thats it, I'm off to work shortly, we have long awaited rain this morning, smells beautiful on the hot ground and the spring grass...now the sheep will eat it and get the staggers..awful.

Have a great day /evening, and welcome to my new follower, thank you so much for joining me.

Also going to enter this card in a challenge at Cutie pie   they want 'Bears'

Thanks for stopping by...will see you all tomorrow.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh Chrissy,
That really breaks your heart to hear stories like this. Just when it sounded like they both had a good go for the future. :( I do certainly hope the best for both of them and the families too.

On to a brighter note....your card is absolutely the most warm and inviting card. You have truly combined the most beautiful elements together to create a truly gorgeous Christmas card.
Hugs to you,
