Power cut

Hello Everyone,

Had a funny day on Saturday...we had a power cut!! Do you know how many times I thought, well, I shall have a coffee.....oh! cant do that..no hot chips for lunch....missed my lunchtime TV show....couldn't blog [that nearly killed me]...had the boys with me...and surprisingly they didn't really care that there was no TV...they were colouring...I was all coloured out, and very restless, and heating a cup of coffee over a candle takes FOREVER....

In my coffee table there are large deep drawers, and Tyla was rumaging through and found a jig-saw puzzle.....soooo........................away we went.

The missing bits were a bit annoying 4 in total, but we worked on this thing for a few hours and never turned the telly on, when the power did come back on.

I finished it by Monday night, now it is going to sit there till the boys come back Wednesday, as they want to see it finished...

Now a card to share with you...had so much fun with this, and lots of tiny cutting out bits.

The beautiful fireplace was from Bird[Marie]....Rocking horse from Beccy  ..large gift from Stampfairy  small stack of gifts from Rochelle  and the Christmas tree was a colouring picture and I shrunk it.

Coloured with pencils, with pearls, glitter and star stickers and gems added, then popped up on foam dots....

On the inside is the beautiful die I bought on special...remember...you all loved it..well it took me so long to prick it all out of the die I could have made four cards in the meantime.
It is very pretty, but man oh man...I dont know how to make it easier to remove it from the die.
Maybe my card was a bit too thick...dont know...but it was there to stay..puts me off using it again...

Going to enter my card in a challenge at Forever Friends   [Christmas is coming]

and it is indeedy...very fast....

Welcome to my new follower, thank you so much for joining me. and thanks everyone for the fabulous comments you leave...still the highlight of my days...

Luv CHRISSYxx

Hi Chrissy, thank you for your lovely comment and birdcage link by mistake lol! Had a quick peek what an amazing selection of wonderful images. Your snowflake card is gorgeous, not sure what the die cuts are (must need another crafting gadget I guess lol). Beautiful Christmas scene you have created above, just perfect for Christmas, hope you don't lose your power again, else you will be doing another jigsaw lol! Hopefully with all the pieces. Have a wonderful week, take careX:)

Hi Chrissy that's awful when you lose the power because, as you say, you just don't realise how much you rely on it. Well done with the jigsaw though you finished it very quickly. Your card is so sweet looks very traditional xx
