'My Lady' needed some help yesterday, she asked me 27 times [maybe more, I lost count..lol..] if she owed me money.
I went to the shops to buy her Christmas paper as the other lady bought me some cheap stuff and it is awful, she claimed....I thought it was beautiful and far from cheap, but to her, Christmas is RED..so off I tottered to the Warehouse, and they have 3 rolls for $2....but the colours were mixed, so I bought 3 packets, took all the rolls out and put 3 red ones in her packet...scored big time..I'm such a "fabulous shopper"..lol..also "why are these not the right tickets to put on gifts" she hates the sticker ones, but that all you can get these days, unless you buy the folded ones..."rubbish" when I went shopping "last year"..[she hasn't been outside for 3 years] I bought gift cards that said to and from, so off she went to get the one she had left, and it was the ones I made her...lol..[my brain felt like mashed potato by this time]..so I said to her " OH!!! I know where to get those ones, I'll get you some, and thats exactly what I'm taking her...the ones I made this year..lol...God give me strength...please.
On to my card share for today......
Teddy Bea...all in white...This is the card I mentioned yesterday that was made totally back to front.
I tried an experiment, by printing her out twice, then embossed one of her through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder...so far so good, then cut the embosed one out and paper pieced her dress and boots...all good...then added the thick glitter on her fur trims [at this stage had not coloured her in]
all was going so well...decided to keep her, now I had to colour her, with glitter all over the place...then decided to cut her out, so I could pop her up...scissors crunched all round her, but finally got there...talk about making life difficult for yourself.
Embossed the bottom panel with the snowflake folder, added clear plastic snowflakes and pearls.
Scored lines around the card to fill it up a bit....
Close up of Teddy Bea...
and my prettys are starting to flower...far to many in the pots...but at least they are flowering...
Entering my card into 2 challenges..
