Young Love

Hello Everyone,

Here we are.. a brand new year...hope you all had a fun, happy and safe arrival into 2012..

I'm so impressed with all the entries you sent in to MAKE IT MONDAY  even when life was so busy, with so many things to do, it was wonderful to still have a great number of entries.

This week we are delighted to have a brand new sponsor Digi My World! The wonderful artist and owner Annie is offering the prize of a $10 gift certificate to spend in the store! And they are in sale at the moment so you may want to pay the store a visit! ;)

For my card this week I used this very sweet digi from our sponsor called '50's Young Love'...

Coloured with pencils, papers from First edition,"up,up,and away"everything else from my stash.

Aaahhh...yes..I remember it well..Emman and Johnny..

Side view...getting worried about that fence..not going to last much longer..

I picked a favourite from last week and very pleased to share it with you....

#21 Karen

Hee, Hee, what a beauty Karen.

So thats all from me..have a great week, link up all those gorgeous cards and  projects....

Ooh! Ooh! I'm first to comment. It's just gone midnight, better be quick or I'll nof off on the keyboard & heaven knows what message I'll send!!!
Now this card is in my Top 3, love the blue hearts, clever-pants-idea.
Think yer fence may just hold on in there a while longer, maybe a lick-o-paint though...haha!!
Off to beddy-byes xx

Well it's for sure I remember the poodle skirts and bobby sox along with the sock hops every week. So fun to look back at the styles when we were young. Adorable card Chrissy.

As for the fence, a couple of nails, a good paint job and it should last for years.. What a hoot Karen's card is. Good choice!

Gave a wonderful 2012 and keep all that inspiration coming GF. "Hugs"

I agree with Jane, those hearts are AWESOME and that couple is adorable. You really picked a great image. :)
Your hillbilly pick of the week reminded me of my family! WONDERFULLY funny card. :)
I do hope the fence realizes it's importance and aesthetic value and hangs in there for quite awhile longer.
Have a great day!
