Fairy time for MIM

Hello Everyone,

What a great weekend, didn't do much...went to see 'My Lady' Sat & Sun morning....wore a dress.
I dont do dresses very often but had an urge, and she prattled about it for ages...but then she said,"I dont like it very much, but you do look striking"....talk about mixed feelings, so I loooked striking in an ugly dress....thats different....lol..
Her clock had almost stopped in the kitchen, and she couldn't WIND it up....so I suggested that I put a new battery in it....well I'm just so clever to think of that....but I had to put it 2 mins slower than the bedroom....because by the time she left the bedroom and reached the kitchen the time would be the same.
And my kids say to me..."Why do you get so tired"....if my brain ever starts to get that bad...please...shoot me!!

So the weekend has passed in a flash...Rod Stewart was here Saturday night singing his heart out...I didn't go..it rained and turned to the South which is cold....but when the night was still, you could hear, every now and then, the crowds cheering....was told it was a brilliant outdoor concert.

But we are here for indoor activities today which is cards and projects for Make it Monday
and our sponsor is.....

They are offering a $10 gift voucher to the chosen random commenter this week.

I have gone for another Fairy....from Pergamano "Summer Fairies" and Prima papers "Sweet Fairy" 6x6 pad...

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and very glittery wings...added gems to her dress and tassles.
Butterfly and ribbon from Vicky's candy, flowers from woc,and my stash.

The tiny pink heart down the bottom is from a childs jewelery playset, and I stuck a flower in the middle of it...as it was a bit ragged around the inside edge..

Close up of my sweet Fairy...

Side view of the open card..yes!!... I stuck it on with the opening at the side by mistake, but it worked as I had not done the inside at that stage...phew.

And of course I picked a favourite this week.....

A waterfall card made by #77 Indira   you cannot see it working, but love the waterfall cards, have not made one for ages...pull the bottom tag and the little squares flip..very clever..and my favourite colour too...

Thats it for today...lets get linking those cards and paper projects up on MAKE IT MONDAY
you can see all my teamies beautiful cards over on the main blog, just click the link and you are off..

Thanks for stopping by and all your fabulous comments [just leave the dress out of it]..and a big welcome to 2 new followers, thank you so much for joining me, and will see you all tomorrow, have a great new week...

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh I shouldn't laugh Chrissy but I couldn't help it. You have the patients of a saint, that's all I'm saying, lol.

Your card is gorgeous!! Such pretty, sweet little fairy. The added glitter is the perfect touch.

Great pick for your favourite. These water fall cards baffle me, I can't figure out how they make them, super clever!

I have to admit that like Michelle I too should not laugh, but my dear friend you really are a saint. I have told you before that it takes a special kind of person to do what you do every day. I so admire you for it. Really. I love your little fairy. She is just so sweet and I love how you have made her wings sparkle ever so sweetly. What do you use for that? I think is it great that you got to hear Rod Stewart a little and not have to deal with the crowds. We live about a half a mile away from our outside ampatheater and when they have concerts there we always hear them. I love it in the summer when we're in our pool. Otherwise sometimes I just want to go to sleep and hope that the noise ends soon. lol.. Hugs, Lisa

Don't get me started on clocks. My FIL has nearly 50 of them and unbeknownst to us, the family, was deemed a tradition by him to gather together the eve of daylight savings days and change every last one of those little bas$&@*ds. Tick tocks and ding dongs and wing dings and coo coos and rat a tats and whistles and gongs. THEN, to top it off, the women are so graciously allowed to prepare a bounty afterwards! Shoot me FIRST!

As for your dress, I'm certain you and your garment looked magnificent and for your card...that is ADORABLE!! Love how she's giving that little bird a wee drink. You picked a fantastic image and your waterfall POTW, so beautiful.

HUGS!
