A BEAR AND A FISH

Hello Everyone....

Had a wee moment in the car today, which worried me slightly...

As a caregiver I drive all over the city doing my thing, and today, just after lunch, was driving along and arrived at my destination...and thought.. how the h*&ll did I end up here..I cannot remember driving there...isn't that strange...hopefully it was because it was a habit and the car knew where to go..lol..

Have a little card to share today in support of the C.R.A.F.T  challenge as Stampfairy is there sponsor, and thought I would like to join in...

The theme at C.R.A.F.T. is masking...so I masked!!!

And who better to mask than young BARRY  from Stampfairy

Theres a close up of BARRY FISHING  and I masked him and stamped the hills behind him, and coloured everything with my pencils...

There's my sky and Barry template and mask.....

This is the stamp set from Firecracker Designs by Pamela Clarke..the little hills stamp is in the middle...

The side view...papers from my stash of off cuts...and used a circle punch for the sun...

The sentiment came from the stamp set too, and I used it, because, when I had finished and looked at Barrys face, I  caught the  shocked look on his face....yes!...he is sitting on a jetty fishing with water all around him...lol..I forgot to add a bit of land..

So there is my card for today...going to enter into a couple of challenges...

Simon says stamp  [anything goes]

Creative Inspirations  [One for the Guys]

Thanks for stopping by...see you tomorrow..

The driving thing we call "autopilot" hun - seems to happen most on a familiar route, I wouldn't worry too much just yet! Loving Barry fishing, the scene is gorgeous - he's not on an island, just perched on the end of a very long jetty!! Hugs, Sxx PS. Your post header made me chuckle - it sounds like the lead in to a joke. There was this bear and a fish ....

Oh! LOL you are funny Chrissy...I LOve calling to see what you've come up with! Poor Barry sitting out there with no means of getting back to dry land!! But, Boy doesn't he look FABulous! LOve your coloring the sea and sky are perfect. LOve his hat and the fish that 'got away'. and at least it's sunny for him. LOve your sentiment too.

Must be a car thing! Mine knows its way around too. x

So cute and I like the little scene you've created. The sun, fish and hat are neat touches.
Don't worry about the 'how did I get here'... that's much better than 'where am I?' It's easy enough to do because you are driving out of habit, or at least that's what I told myself when it happened to me.

Hope Barry can swim!! Fab card Chrissy and love how you masked him to get the mountains behind him. Great use of two different types of stamps together I would forget I had those mountains if it were me!! Don't worry about the driving before I retired everyday I would get to the hospital car park and couldn't remember my trip!! xx

Hi Chrissy, yet another ADORABLE little bear. I am telling you that I just love how you color them. :O) I really love your little scene that you have given him. Truly adorable! Love that you have used the button type thingys for his hat and the fish. Your card ROCKS! Very unnerving when we do things like your drive today. Maybe you were just busy thinking of other things and you and your car just did the rest for you. Don't worry too much. I'm sure it's just one of those things. Last weekend Jerry and I got up early went grocery shopping, came home put it all away. Then I cleaned my desk and fiddled around with few things until I finally had a few minutes to sit down in Jerry's really comfy chair to read the rest of my book. I fell asleep and woke up at about 3pm. It took both kids and Jerry at least 30 minutes to get me to believe them that we had done all that and that it was Saturday. It just boogles the mind when I do things like that. Have a great evening my friend. Hugs, Lisa

Yes... I think Squirrel's right about the "autopilot" - usually helpful, except when you need to take a different route from normal, and suddenly find you've ended up on the wrong underground train because autopilot has shepherded you onto your regular route - yup... bitter experience...!

Cute as a pie card, and I love the depth to the scenery you've created with your masking.
