OF THINGS TO COME

Hello Everyone.....

My new Lady let me into her house yesterday, which was a bonus....she is such a hoot...85yrs young and curses like a sailor....she spent 30 years working on cargo ships, and just became 'one of the boys'....

She had no idea who I was when I went in,but, let me in anyway, and just glad of the company I think...made her some toast and a cuppa and we chatted....she is going to have some tales to tell I think..

Had  lovely play in my craftroom yesterday afternoon and came up with this card for the Lili's little Fairies  photo inspiration challenge..

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils, and used a few dies on this one..

Fiskars grass punch
MB Tree
Marianne fence,birdhouse,and birds.
Marrianne Lamp bracket [for birdhouse to sit on...

A close up of image...'Glamorous Gardening' from LOTV...a freebie pad of images out of a magazine..

And the side view....paper are MME 'Bramble Rose'  and flower from WOC.

Inked the birds and birdhouse a bit....addded glitter to her ribbon on her hat and liquid pearls on her necklace..

Inspiration photo...gorgeous.

So there we have it...going to enter into the Simon says Stamp [anything goes challenge too]...

But for now, I have to love and leave you, as duty calls this early Sunday morning, off to see 2 ladies this morning....2 at lunchtime....and 5 tonight...no rest for the wicked eh!!

Thanks for stopping by, will catch up with you all this afternoon....hope you are having a great weekend..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Fabulous design Chrissy you have captured the inspiration photo brilliantly! I love the elderly ladies with spirit they are so interesting. I used to nurse a retired nurse and she always told me my uniform was far too short "No more than 3 inches above the ankles dear"! Have a good day but I think its probably almost finished for you now! Hugs Susan x
