MMM...ICECREAM FOR STAMPFAIRY

Hello Everyone...wow!! What a lovely day here in the middle of Winter...frosty start but beautiful sunshine followed and had a play in the garden after work..excellent.
But now it is cooling down late afternoon and off to work again shortly to say nite nite to' My Ladies'...

Have a card to share with you using this cute little digi from STAMPFAIRY ..

This is MOLLY BEACH 1 ....

Coloured Molly using Faber Castell pencils and paper pieced her bathing suit..

The waves.. I used my new punch 'Fiskars Wave Border"..and the starfish out of my daughters bathroom..[she has plenty, and would not miss one]..okay,I took two..shhhh

Papers are MME 'A Mothers Love"...

The sand was a torn strip of Kraft..

Shell die, from Marianne Creatables and so is the lighthouse...cut it out with white card and placed a lovely blue cardstock behind...saved colouring.

Added a sentiment ticket and clothes peg, all done.

NOW....the Spellbinders "Cattails..would be the worst die I have ever tried to cut with...have you ever a die like that??...it just wont cut clean and took me ages to get one that was reasonably okay, but had to finish it off with a craft knife..sooo disappointed with it and have a flower one the same..useless..

Never mind...finished belly aching now..lol..have lots of other good ones so will stop moaning..

Going to enter this card at these challenges...

Tuesday Throwdown  [Anything goes]

Thanks for stopping by...will see you tomorrow..

Hi Chrissy this is fabulous! What a great summer scene loving your new stash! I have some of these dies and they are a pain in the buttinski!! Apart from running through umpteen dozen times with extra shims I also found if you have a metal cutting plate that helps or add some waxed paper between the die and cardstock - good luck! Susan xx

Chrissy have you used a Metal Adapteor for cutting any die. I found it a brilliant for cutting most things, especially intricate Spellbinder dies.
Your card is adorable, lovely colouring and such fabulous details - and I do love those Cattails!!!

Adding wax baking paper between the die and paper always works for my, and I am not a lover of spellbinders at all, but it does work.

Love the card and starfish looks fab, cute image as always and paper pieced to perfection.

Gorgeous card Chrissy :-) the image is very cute and the whole beach scene is FAB :-)

OOH what a faff re your dies !! I don't have a metal adaptor, but have heard they are good, I tend to use card shims and baking paper, and that does tend to be OK on all of my intricate dies . Hope you manage to find a solution xx

thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge :-)

This is such a cute "by the seaside" themed card! So many great details, with the sea shells, star fish, lighthouse and punched waves! As for your troublesome die - have you tried using it with several layers of papers at the same time? In my experience that can help a little with those tricky ones...

I'm back lol..
Just thought I'd leave it till today to see how people were helping you with your dies...
I have a MB die called Frostyville Border and I've never been able to use it! Someone told me to get a Tumble Dry Sheet and rub in all over the die? Well, a box of Sheets cost me a £1.00 for 45, and I thought if it doesn't work then my washing would smell nice..so a no loose situation lol..It's worked
so no change to my washing..Don't know how it does it with it been dry lol..but, it does..
