A CUTE LITTLE DONKEY - WITH MAKE IT MONDAY

Hello Everyone...

Monday is upon us and the last day of our long weekend....had a wonderful BBQ the other night at my Daughters....BUT!!! there was a terrible fight in the kitchen half way through the prepping...between....

            This guy  !!

       And this guy!!

Guess who won!!!!....I forgot to use the guard..and oops!!...and we never found the missing bit either...so now I have a hole in my finger...rather deep and nasty, so there goes any plans for colouring as I'm a lefty and having a struggle holding my pencils...

Thank goodness I'm ahead with DT cards..

Onto something more pleasurable....MAKE IT MONDAY   with our wonderful sponsor....... MELJENS DESIGNS ...

And I was given this little cute Christmas Donkey to play with...

Such a little Cutie...all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and red copic....

Front of my card....papers are MME glittered stack...magnolia snowflake dies and a lush red ribbon from my stash....

Glitter on little donkey's hat...and a very sunny day for photographing,so quite a few shadows...but, taken by my berry bush, which berries up near Christmas...

For my POTW I went with this wonderful creation from # 120 Jan

I love these advent calanders, just dont have the patience to make one...so I let the experts do it...gorgeous Jan...Thanks for sharing with us at MIM...

So that's me for today...off to nurse my battle wounds...[very stingy]...my Son has gone back to Christchurch today...my Daughter and SIL have whipped off to Raratonga today, so I'm home with the boys...and my eldest Son comes home from Australia today...and my family wonder why I dont remember everything...sheeez...

Thanks for stopping by...will see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh poor baby. That hurts and it's your coloring hand to. Tragic, just tragic. Well guess you will just have to spend your time shopping for new crafting supplies. LOL

Love your POTW. I always had one as a child, but never took the time to make one.
Beautiful coloring on the donkey. I love MelJen characters. They are always so cute. He looks really jaunty perched at that angle too. Good job

I'm so clumsy in the kitchen. My hubby makes most of the food... I wonder why. He says I'm always close to giving him a heart attach whenever I have a knife in my hand - it looks like I'm going to cut anything but the food!
Your card is adorable! You did the doodled frame really well!

Oooohhhh makes me hurt just thinking about your finger Chrissy. My DD was using a mandolin once to slice potatoes very thin and it happened to her. I've never let her use that thing again :( lol. Hope it heals super fast!!!

Your little donkey is so so cute! Love your Christmas card!!! I hope your finger is better (you must be a lot like me, my husband tries to keep me away from certain devices as I am a bit danger prone, lol). I'm with you, love the Advent calendars, but don't know that I have the patience to make one.
I linked over from MIM where I am participating with my
Cute Halloween project
I would love it if you'd stop by.
Hugs, antonella :-)

OHHHH NO.....not that wicked wicked piece of kitchen equipment! Made the husband and I both cringe when we saw the photo. Good grief Chrissy...no wonder you're having a time. So glad to hear that the tip is finally mending itself though. I agree with everyone else, this card is fantastic; especially by that berry bush. Is that a Mohave Pyracantha Berry bush? It's gorgeous :)
hugs,
