Hello Everyone...
Oooo..I'm late tonight with my post...but I've been to school with my Grandson..learning about ipods..pads..or something..and Chromebook...whatever that is. NUP!! learned nothing and just wanted to nod off with all the tech names and terms...and to make matters worse that little 11yr old sponge sitting beside me took it all in...so hopefully he will teach me.
Anywhoo...time for my FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY card...and this week we want you to use BROWN...Yummy!! I love brown next to yellow...so used both colours on my card with this gorgeous image from MO'S DIGITAL PENCIL
Baby Fairy Butterfly
Too cute...coloured with Faber Castell pencils and lashing s of glitter on those beautiful wings...
The papers are Authentique "Comfort and Familiar"....
The flowers made with Marianne Creatables die..manilla folder and hessian...added a pearl to the centres..
Stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of manilla folder...added a pretty heart and Cheery lyn Designs Mini Leaf....and the gorgeous butterfly is one of those costume rings [that I seemed to have bought in bulk] and used pliers to take the ring part off..really needed the hot glue to stick this one on..

Chrissy, I love everything about this card. Your kraft flowers just rock and I love love that butter fly ring/embellishment. Really really pretty and it does go so well with the yellow and browns. hmmm I just might have to give this combo a try. It makes sense when one thinks about sunflowers. lol... Nature shows us what goes, but I guess if you don't stop to take it in you just don't get it do you? I am shocked at myself over it. hehe... Sorry, it just kind of kicked in there. Oh...I love it. I am frankly just in awe....I love every single thing about it. It tickles me that you used costume jewelry....I do the same. I really like the brown on brown of the flowers. I keep coming back to take another look and each time I do....I realize there is still more to it.

This is adorable, Chrissy! Brown and yellow - that's a color scheme I will keep in mind for one of my future non Christmas cards... I've never used that one before, and I just love how it looks!
