ALL SEWN UP!!

Hello Everyone...

Thanks ever so much for the well wishes..

I'm out hospital with 21 stitches in my back, but feel terrific..I had the operation under local as I don't like going under...no problems and can't believe there was hardly any discomfort at all...now I have to wait for the results[ which is a bit distracting].. stitches out and results on the 29th.
My Dad just rang and was waiting for the agony in my voice and was thrilled to know that all was good..
I coloured a wee bit today...short intervals as I cant hunch over like I do...and have a dozen CAS cards to make up for overseas posting....standing making those should be fine..

So onto a card I made a few weeks ago and for a few challenges...

This cute little elf was a freebie from somewhere and I'm so sorry I cannot remember where...could have been colouring pages, just not sure..

He has been coloured with Faber Castell pencils and his wings all glittered up..and the shading looks so much better IRL...the camera or my fussing around has washed him out a bit...

The lovely papers are MME  "O Christmas Tree"....mini snowflakes punched out and the tartan ribbon from my stash...
I bought a card of lace from "Little Birdie" and added that to the card..a bit of gauze and that is about it..

Challenges I would like to enter...

Fab N Funky   [Xmas]

Little Claires Designs   [Christmas]

Partytime Tuesday  [Anything Goes]

Crafty Girls challenge   [Anything goes]

There we go all done and time to rest up a bit more...I have 5 days off work so better go get healing...My Lady needs me...lol..

Thanks so much for stopping by...see you soon.

luv CHRISSYxx

So glad you're ok after that procedure! Know it'll probably be a little sore for a while though. Just take life easy for a few days.

Love this beautiful card for Christmas! The little elf is adorable and love the way you did the background. Ribbon - outstanding too!

Oh goodness Chrissy hadn't realised you were in hospital but glad it wasn't too horrendous! (though 21 stitches sounds pretty horrendous to me). The waiting for results is always the worst bit, fingers crossed it will not be worth the worry!! Loving this gorgeous card, like being in Santa's house! Take it easy now Chrissy and don't be over doing it!! Sending hugs.
