DAY 2 GONE- AND ANOTHER SCRAPBOOK CANVAS..

Hello Everyone...

Day 2 of my holidays gone and managed a few things on my to do list..

The weather was just right to get out in the garden and did at least 1/4 of it..cleaned the house on Monday..washed nets and just a general tidy up..found some dust bunnies under the bed and disposed of them quickly and a few webs..[Charlotte been busy again]..

Not a lot of activity in the craft room but made this canvas at the same time I made the girls one...

This time it's the boys..

They don't always look this happy next to each other..lol..must have been having a good day.

The canvas started out with newspapers glued on..then texture paste and quite a few stencils..loads of corrugated card and cardboard boxes cut up...spotted washi tape...scraps out of the scrapbox all torn up...black and white paint...chipboard cogs and the little wooden things that come with the canvas for the word Brothers..[stickers]

The wall paper in my craft space looked so special after my splattering on my canvas..[oop's]

Bit of a side view to see the layers..

And..Harry...enjoying a special treat laying with my Grandson..ON MY RED FUR BLANKET...

Oh! well..can always shake it..

Thanks so much for stopping by..looks like cleaning the oven day tomorrow...weather starting to look bad..or maybe I could just craft...

luv CHRISSYxx

great minds hey I did my nets on Monday and a few dust bunnies removed too, trying to do one room per day sigh, I love your canvass I would never have through about using photos, I like mixed media but not keen on the old fashioned things people put on them, but I love the idea of a photo :0) hugs Pops x

You're just going to have to canvas your whole wall now! The picture of your grandson's is money...that's so great of them and your mixed media around them is particularly fabulous. I love seeing what you create in your busy life. Especially LOVE the last picture with Harry...too stinking adorable. :)

Love you mixed media projects, Chrissy. I'm thinking I should go ahead and try it too, it looks quite fun. But I've never been good at adding lots of stuff without it ending up looking a bit too messy for my taste. This is perfectly balanced and it's a great way to put those favorite photos to good use.
