ANOTHER WEEK BITES THE DUST..

Hello Everyone..

Another week gone by...where is the time going...

Have a bird house to share today...

Was going through some craft magazines and came across this template, so thought I would have a go and just printed it on plain white card..you know, just to see if I could do it or not..

So there it is..the roof went a bit crooked..so I punched out heaps of  1"circles and tacked them down like tiles..they were crooked too..but I was still playing and not sure if I would even share it.

The tiles then all started to lift... so had to go over it with matt medium and that stuck the little suckers down..they weren't moving now!!

Now I had a white boring birdhouse that was crooked with a heavy well glued roof...so out came the masking tape...again.

On went the tape..and this actually made the house stronger..

Then the painting procedure started...I love the painting bit...paint and water...more paint and water until it looked like bark...

Then came the splatterings of white paint...holly dies and berries, and the lovely little bird made out of hessian and calico..with some snowflakes glued on for good measure...

The thick crunchy sparkly roof was coconut and glitter and lots of glue....

And there's a shot a little bit closer...not too close as you will see my glue oozing..lol..

A lot of fun to make and may even make more for different seasons...

luv CHRISSYxx
