DIGITAL DELIGHTS - DT AND A DISASTER

Hello Everyone....

Welcome to Delightful Thursday..

Inspiration time with DIGITAL DELIGHTS and yes, I had a disaster...

This time I was able to play with CHOMPERS  ..but...we had a chemical unbalance, and this was the result..

The grass [paint] had a reaction to something I put on there and it bubbled and bled and stayed all sticky..and I hated it..so back to drawing board...

The next one I was much happier with, so here we go..

This is CHOMPERS ..I made the hills with green cardstock..inked up the edged a bit and added die cut trees...

Using papers from the store I made the clouds...Blossoming Egg Paper Set

There's a close up of CHOMPERS sitting inside his burrow on the side of the hill...with MB bamboo shoots around the entrance..the "Stones"were made by dipping the end of my pencil in paint and dotting it around...

There is a side view to see the dimension ...

And there is the bottom with the stamped grasses and flowers and the Marianne creatable fence cut in half..or the pickets were cut off..gives a whole new fence to play with..

So there we go..pulled myself together and got on with the job and feel so much better..

Thanks so much for stopping by... and see you day after tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

This looks brilliant Chrissy. So clever what you did with the bamboo at the entrance and your stones. And the half fence. Great card.

I wouldn't have thought of your first creation as a disaster at all, but when one is not happy it doesn't matter that much what other thinks. The second has a whole other type of style. Sweet and so well designed, I really love that idea of cutting off the top part of the fence...

Ah the trials and tribulations of mixed media - I rather like the texture, but if it stayed sticky I can see you couldn't stick with it! Love the end result... the rabbit is too cute, and the tiny flowers along the bottom are adorable.
