Hello Everyone..
Well, my weekend is over and it is Monday morning and nearly time for work...daylight saving has finished and I needed to go to bed last night but is was only 8pm..I lasted till 9pm but was up at 4am..good grief..hope my body gets sorted into a routine soon...and the change of time means my DT post will be all over the place.
Moving on.. as it is the first Monday of the month it is time for a new challenge at..
WHERE THE HeART IS with the theme SPARKLE AND BLING
We have a wonderful sponsor MISS DAISY STAMPS and were able to choose any image we wanted to play with..
I chose this little cutie after NOT reading the theme and struggle to get started, but the creative juices took over and I made a small canvas..
My image is LITTLE BEAR CANOE ADVENTURE from the Teddy Collection at Miss Daisy Stamps
There he is paddling down the river..
For the background I cut out some hill shapes in brown card stock...stamped some blurry trees...used Gelato's for the sky and river....sprinkle glitter on the water for some sparkle, then decided to make a sunrise which nearly blinded me..so had to calm it down a bit and sprinkled yellow glitter..
There's a close up of Teddy who I coloured up with Reno Art Markers, shaded with Faber Castell pencils and add some gems to his Canoe..
Fussy cut the image with his own water and glued him on the bottom of the scene...added some glitter to his feathers too..

He/she is extremely cute and love the background you have given him/her. can't make my mind up about the gender lol. I wish they would leave the clocks alone Chrissy, really plays havoc with you as you get older.
I can understand why you wanted this image. And I totally understand what a challenge it must have been using it with the sparkle and bling theme, but so impressed by how elegantly you solved it.
